Spring 2nd Quarter Journal 2011 April-June

APRIL

1 April 2011 Friday

Today Spring Break begins for me and it was a fun evening and such a pretty day. I had my term auction for the kids before they went home and My principal Liz said we could leave with the kids so I did. I tried taking a nap but Coco wanted to play I so didn’t get one.

It was a beautiful spring day. The Apricot Tree popped and the forsythias are buttery yellow.

Kyle Foote was up in Park City meeting people from the Park Silly farmers market but came home about 4 this afternoon. He said he was taking this kid also named Kyle also to the Kinsey Sicks tonight at the Grand Theater.

I went with Mike Romero about 5:30 and we went to Betos on State Street next to South High and had dinner. I had the five rolled tacos. We were over at the Grand Theater by 6:30 first.

I saw Tim Keller and gave him tickets to the but as it turned out you really didn’t need them. I gave a $20 donation to the Gay homeless youth shelter.

I saw Becky Moss and Chevy Bolinder with his partner there so we all went and sat on the very front row. I called it the Queer row.

I saw Michael Aaron, and Kevin Hillman, Peter Crane and Blair Lewis and a few more from the old crowd. I’d say the audience was mixed but really not a lot of college age kids.  They didn’t advertise this event at all and the house was not nearly full.

The Kinsey Sicks performed from about 7:30 to 9:00 and they were so funny that at times I thought Beck and I would pee ourselves from laughing so hard. I was picked on as the “oldest grad student in the audience”.

Kyle Foote and his Kyle sat next to Mike and I. Becky Moss and Chevy sat on the other side of us.  There were Lots of good Queer Energy.

Kevin Hillman, Becky, and I all bitched how Valarie Larabee is handling the Kristen Ries Awards.

Read something that made me laugh...Are you still considered a Vegan if you swallow?

My sister Charline Wachs sent me the phone number for mom. She at the Good Samaritan in Phoenix.

2 April 2011 Saturday

It was a really gloomy overcast day. I didn’t even take a shower today. I just laid around and worked cleaning up my genealogy files. My cousin Marilyn Williams Stevens’ son Danny Jr. wanted the family tree so I worked on sending it to him for much of the day.

I did get out the house to close my Chase Bank account. I only had $12.25 in it but because they are now charging for checking I was afraid I’d go into the hole with them.  They took out the $12 and I got a quarter when I closed the account!

I bought gas at Smith’s because of the nickel discount. I paid $3.30 a gallon.  I also paid $500 towards my Lakeview Hospital bill and my water bill.

I thought about sweet Buddy Husky. He was my cowboy crush when I was 17 and he was 19. It’s his birthday and he is 62 years old now but he will always be 19 in my heart.

3 April 2011 Sunday

I Woke up to a ton of snow. We got pounded over here in Westpointe, I guess from Lake effect.  It snowed off and on all day with a blizzard coming in about 2 in the afternoon. We are being pounded by snow pellets, not flakes, not ice, but snow pellets.

The Poor trees are almost to the ground covered with snow. Friday it was 71 degrees but today you could build a snow man.

My internet was not working and I felt cut off from the world so I made coleslaw, potato salad, deviled eggs, baked spinach artichoke cheese spread, and Southern Shredded Pork for Sunday dinner. But the internet came on before I could whip up a pineapple upside down cake. See what happens when I get bored?

I had Michael Romero over for dinner because I had so much food and in the evening Kyle Foote asked his friend ‘Kyle’ to come over to watch a movie. I fed him too.  We watched Clint Eastwood’s “The Changeling”.

I hope my Apricot blossoms survive the snow.

4 April 2011 Monday

It’s the First day of spring break and it was too cold to work in the yard. A limb from the Globe Willow broke off from the weight of yesterday’s snow. I made a meatloaf today and some rolls.

5 April 2011 Tuesday

This morning I took Buddy to the vet to have him look at his ear. It still hasn’t healed properly. He gave me some ointment and pills for Buddy and said to come back on the 15th to see whether it healed or not. If it hasn’t it might be cancer. He wants Buddy to go on a diet also because he’s at 38 lbs. so I guess I am going to have to get serious about Daisy and Buddy’s weight.

The weather warmed up today into the 60’s so Kyle Foote and I worked in the backyard cleaning up twigs and dead branches. There was so much crap that it took two trips to the dumps.  We also dug some trenches for the chicken coop. I worked really hard in the yard and am now really sore.

I fixed chicken burritos for dinner. Kyle said he could hardly eat because he was so upset with Alex who I guess lied to him about having a PhD. He broke up with him over the internet LOL.  That’s so 21st century.

6 April 2011 Wednesday

Kyle Foote set up a party invite on Face book for a birthday party for Sunday, my 60th birthday. So I guess I am having a party.

I started Buddy, Daisy, and Coco on their diet today. Wish I had a diet trainer. After Kyle went off to school I worked more in the backyard since the weather is supposed to turn bad for the rest of the week.  I mowed the front and back yards and picked up more dead leaves cleaning out flower beds.

I made fried chicken for dinner with chicken gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, and creamed corn. The dogs aren’t so fussy about eating now since they are on a restricted diet.

7 April 2011 Thursday

I watched a marathon of the show Brothers and Sisters because it rained and snowed all day and there wasn’t much else to do.

8 April 2011 Friday

I went into Bountiful today to change my Mortgage and buy food and drink for my birthday party. I noticed that American 1st had been taken about $30 more a month for my mortgage than what I originally had Horizon Credit Union set up to do. So now I am having $750 a month but in instead of $695.

Then I went to Costco and bought a $150 worth of food, then to the Liquor store and bought $40 worth of wine, and then to Smiths. I am shelling out about $250 for this 60th birthday party when it’s all said and done but hell I only turn 60 once and I haven’t thrown a party in years!

It’s still snowy and rainy out today so no outside work.  When Kyle Foote went out for the night I cleaned the house out like mad. I put music on and then scrubbed the kitchen and dining room, vacuumed, mopped trying to get the house presentable for Sunday.

9 April 2011 Saturday

I marinated the Asparagus, caramelized some pecans, deviled some eggs, made the Raspberry vinaigrette today. Then I went with Michael Romero up to Bountiful where we bought some harnesses for the dogs at Petco that were on sale.

It snowed all day long! I called mom in the evening. She is in a physical therapy place now in Mesa “The Citadel” I think that was what Charline called it. We only talked briefly because she was being taken to dinner.

10 April 2011 Sunday

Today is my 60th Birthday and it didn’t rain or snow all day. I Had a busy morning making Cream of Mushroom Soup and a Spring Salad. I also made celery and cream cheese sticks. I put a little Apricot jam into the cream cheese and topped them with sliced Almonds. They were pretty tasty.

Most of the afternoon was just waiting for people to show up. Mark Swonson was the first to arrive about 3:15 because Kyle Foote kept changing the time of the party. We visited and he said that in May he will be moving to Hurricane Utah to go live with his brother.  He can’t find work up here, his condo went into foreclosure and his unemployment is running out. Perhaps things will better for him in Southern Utah. He brought me a nice bottle of wine.

Kyle brought a NAMI friend of his named David Van Patten who wanted to meet me. Mike Romero brought Chuck Whyte over to the house. I was really surprised when Jim Dabakis and Eric Ethington showed up. I really didn’t think they would come. I spent much of the evening talking to Jim.

Anthony Dalton and his friend Jordan also showed. They are starving college students. I found out that Anthony’s step mom is one of the Saliva Sisters! Mike Ferguson and a friend of his showed up. They were Kyle’s friends. I like Mike Ferguson a lot and we exchanged phone numbers.

Courtney Moser came with a friend of his but didn’t catch his name. Michael Aaron and Debbie Rosenberg made an appearance. Randy, Kim and Elyse Gile came about 6 after the party was breaking up but that was okay because it gave us a better chance to visit after everyone else left.

Jim Dabakis gave me a $50 gift certificate to Red Rocks and Randy gave me $500 back from  the $2100 I loaned them in March to get into their place.

I had a cheese cake with raspberries as well as a Penis Cake that Kyle got from (M)adam and (St)eve, an erotic cake bakery which he is friends with the owner. It had a cock ring and pre cum and say the “Best is Yet to Cum”.

The Mushroom soup was a hit with none of it left over. I had a lot of salad left over, however. All the deviled eggs and celery sticks were gone and much of the cheese cake so I think I had just about enough food.

Hardly anyone drank anything but soft drinks. I have a ton of wine left!

So that was my 60th birthday party and I had a lot of fun but now I am exhausted. Kyle went off to the Jam to see his bartender friend Jeff.  Tomorrow back to work!

I did talk to John Reeves this morning who’s back in Boston and he wants to meet me in Philadelphia this July. Poor old Darren Solomon came over early this morning to catch me home and he gave me a birthday card.

11 April 2011 Monday

It’s Back to work. The kids seemed glad to be back because they were bored. The day was nice enough. I Came home and cooked spaghetti and garlic bread.

We took Daisy, Buddy, and Coco for a walk around the block with the new harnesses we bought for them.

I sent Jim Dabakis a copy of my story “The Governor, the Gang and the Ghoul.”  I deposited Randy Gile’s $500 into my account today. So I will have money for Buddy’s teeth cleaning.

12 April 2011 Tuesday

I feel like I might be coming down with a cold. I have the sniffles. I slept in until Coco came through the door this morning. Even Buddy and Daisy weren’t moving. It was rainy this morning but cleared up in the afternoon.

I fixed burritos and tostados for dinner and I asked Mike Romero to eat with us. Kyle Foote and I then took the hounds for a walk. After Kyle and Michael left, I watched a little TV but I was in bed by 9:00 tonight.

13 April 2011 Wednesday

About 8:00 this evening I got a phone call from my sister Charline Wachs saying mom had passed away. All I could think to say is Oh God.  Charline sounded so calm and said that mom had passed away at 1:30 this afternoon at the Citadel Rest Home in Mesa Arizona. She didn’t know what from. She said he legs had been swelling for several days.

Charline told my sister Donna Jones and my cousin Stephanie Williams and my uncle JW Johnson but asked if I would call my uncles RL and Wallace, and mom’s friend Jean Horan. I called all but Wallace because it was getting late Texas time. The first person I called was Michael Romero. Not even sure why.

Charline said mom is at a funeral home but nothing is definite about the arrangements.  Charline said she is thinking cremation and I said I would support whatever decision she makes. She’s the executive of the mom’s estate.

She said she told the home that she didn’t want her resuscitated which is what mom wanted.  She was in so much pain her last years with arthritis that I can only be comforted that she is in no more pain.

My cousin Kay called and she was very weepy too.  I Can't sleep from weeping.

This was the first year my mother never sent me a birthday card. Strange how little things hit you. I've always said that if you didn't like my mom something was wrong with you. The best parts of me I learned from my mom. She was a generous, non-judging sweet country bumpkin. She married at 16 her sweetheart and had a long, and I think, happy life.

14 April 2011 Thursday

I cried all night but went into work trying not to be weepy. I Told a few people there that my mom had passed away.  Left as soon as I could and came home to lie down. I called Charline and she’s decided to cremate mom and have a service this summer when we inter her with dad at Rose Hill.

Kyle Foote and Mike Romero went to Chinese Gourmet on 45th so and State for David Van Patten’s birthday. I just couldn’t go out.  They still don’t know what mom died from. Charline thinks it might have had something to do with her legs swelling.

I Talked to my nephew James Clark as he was taking it as hard because he lived so much of his young life with mom and dad.

Elyse and Kayla Gile came over this afternoon and brought flowers and a sympathy card.

My mother never raised her voice to me, always let me know that I was loved, and accepted me for who I am. Anyone who ever knew her is sad today. She never had a mean bone in her body although she would let you know what she was thinking if you were acting up. I was so very fortunate to have such a mom. I hope her grandchildren understand that she was one of a kind.

Five things I am grateful for is that my mother passed away with my sister with her, that she is free from her chronic pain, that I called her and said I love you on Saturday, that she lived a long and happy life, and that I had her for a mother.

My cousin Barbara Danforth Nadsady wrote, “I was with my mom at the end as she quietly slipped away. And while I thought it appropriate, because she was there when I took my first breath, I prefer to remember all the other days of my life with her. We will be with you when you lay her to rest, sweet cousin.”

Kyle Foote wrote to Fernando Noriega “Hey Fernando, I can't seem to find what I did with The Gay Hot Spot face book event invite. I thought I accepted it, but now it's disappeared. I just want to make sure I’m on the list. Thanks! ~Kyle”

15 April 2011 Friday

This morning I had Kyle Foote take Buddy into the Vets to have his teeth cleaned. I picked him up at 4:30. It was only $177.

At school All day we performed the ghost of Plymouth Castle. My student Noa said I looked pale and Sabana said I looked sad. I told them I would tell them later why I was sad. When you're an elementary school teacher you can't put your life on hold. I didn't want my students not to be upbeat for their big play. Show Business and Teaching. It must go on even if your heart is breaking.

I left right after work to take care of some business. My sister Charline said mom couldn’t be cremated without Donna’s or my consent so the funeral home sent me a fax to sign. I had to have it notarized. Mike Romero went with me.

I Can’t remember what I had for supper. My eyes just seem to seep tears at the most importune time. Just staying home tonight thinking about my mother and how fortunate I am to have had her in my life for 60 years. Still I just would love to hear her voice once more.”

Greg Hardin wrote to Kyle Foote, “Hey Kyle, hope things are going good and stuff. It was sad to hear about Ben's mother’s death so close to his Birthday. What is the mailing address for Ben's house...I want to send him a condolence card? Thanks!”

Fernando Noriega wrote to Kyle-“Search the official launch party of the Gay hot spot and it should pop right up.” Kyle wrote back to Fernando- “did search it and it's not coming up for me, I could have sworn that I saw it on here. Maybe you can double check that an event invite was sent to me? I'm looking forward to your launch party. I do write a lot, mostly about food and mental health in the past, but I enjoy it. I'm a columnist for the Q on an irregular basis..” Fernando replied, “well then guess what!!! we are going to have a column section on the site and thought it would be perfect for you to be able to plug your organization for free by writing a column on our site about food and restaurants!!! interested?” Kyle wrote, “That's a very interesting proposition. I think I would enjoy that and since I already write a lot about local food, wine and restaurants it wouldn't be a lot of work for me to put something unique together along those lines for your site.”  Noriego replied, “cool!!! well I know this is a crazy request and soooo last minute but if you wanted to be part of the launch and could get me a piece by 1pm tomorrow I’ll add you in ... if you can include a short bio and some pics and you will be one of our first contributors!!! great exposure for your group and something we are charging a lot for lol” Kyle stated, “Well I wrote up something to get the ball rolling. What email should I send it to? Noriega replied, “cool!!!! fernando@theGayhotspot.com can you also include a lil' bio and some pics?” Kyle- “done”.

16 April 2011 Saturday

It was finally a beautiful day and Kyle Foote and I worked in the yard for most of it. Kyle worked on building a foundation for moving the shed and building the chicken coop. I mowed and weeded the flower beds.

When we went to Sutherlands I bought two rose bushes. A “Mr. Lincoln” red rose and a Texas Yellow Rose. I planted them in the back yard to remind me of mom and Grandma Johnson.  Kyle also got up on the roof and cleaned out the gutters.

Kyle sure has been having the gentlemen callers lately. I shouldn’t be jealous. I had my share in my day.

17 April 2011 Sunday

I am Grateful that my mom let me learn how to cook so I could just now enjoy a good old fashion breakfast. I love Face Book. I was able to locate my cousin Larry Fagan’s son Aaron. He had been estranged from the family since a baby but now he's a grown man. I have lots of old pictures I want to send him of my Aunt Bonnie, his grandmother.

I called my sister Charline Wachs this afternoon and she had all her kids and grandkids home for a memorial get together. I got to talk to my nephew Michael Wachs a little even. Charline asked if I’d write an obituary for the folks in Texas.

I made quiche for dinner. It always reminds me of that book “Real men Don’t Eat Quiche”. The internet was down much of the day.

18 April 2011 Monday

Rainy days means indoor recesses which means another reason to kick back a shot of whiskey. We had our last performance of the Ghost of Plymouth Castle only this time for parents.  I made some cheese enchiladas today.

19 April 2011 Tuesday

I Woke up at 2:30 this morning by the sound of a pounding rain storm. April Shower may come your way they bring the flowers that bloom in May.

I Had an early morning faculty meeting basically to say that Our Tutors will be gone on May 13 and that the district is $12 million in the hole from the state not funding all the new incoming students.

Zach Seach wrote Kyle Foote asking, “Hey? Hey, what’s going on? Haven't heard from ya for a couple weeks... Are you alive? Doing okay? Mad at me or something? Txt or call me back... Here's my number if ya lost it...” Kyle didn’t respond because he was too busy interacting with a kid named Derek Hawkins who lived back east. He was having virtual sex with him by the use of Skype.

20 April 2011 Wednesday

Mom died a week ago at 1:36 pm in Mesa, Arizona.  It seems surreal without any real closure. I sent an obituary in to the Lubbock Avalanche Journal like Kay and JW suggested. It was the last thing I did before going to bed at 8:30 this evening.

My head cold was worse today.  It rained a little again today.

I also managed to write an article on AIDS for Seth Bracken the new editor of the QSL.  He asked if I would.  Even having a cold, soggy nose, sinus headache, and ‘old man’ problems, I managed to crank out another column for the Q. Since the Q started in 2004 I have cranked out two history articles a month for 7 years with the only exception in 2007 when I stopped writing for 5 months when I was depressed over the suicides of Kathy Worthington, Chad Keller, and John Cunningham that year.

Kyle Foote got some bad news that because of the government budget cuts his VA school benefits are being held off until August.

I made some homemade tomato soup for dinner.

Then Kyle contacted Zach Seach writing, “Hey Zach, I've texted you a couple times over the past few weeks but I never heard anything from you. I figured you were in Reno or busy. I still have your number, that's the one I've been using. Maybe I'll try giving you a call tomorrow. We need to hang out again soon!”

Zach Seach responded, “Umm yeah I haven’t been getting texts from you at all. My phone has been working. I dunno what’s going on then. And yesssss we should hang out soon. Hit me up! Later stud...”

21 April 2011 Thursday

I received  my tickets for Sunset Blvd at the Pioneer Theater for May 5th & then I RSVP for the Q's Fabby Awards on May 6th. I hope I can stay awake! I hope Donald Steward is at the Fabby's again so we can go to Ambers afterwards for real food.

The little nibblies & noshes & wine pairing can't compare with chicken fried steak & gravy. Never learned how to be a piss elegant fairy. Darn!

My relatives in Texas wanted me to get an obituary in the Lubbock paper for my mom. It should appear they said either this Saturday or Easter Sunday. How do one sum up a life so well lived? You can't. It's just to notify the friends and relatives still living on the High Plains of West Texas of mom's passing.

22 April 2011 Friday

The weather held for our walking field trip to Bountiful Electric. Jeny Petersen and I got our class lists ready for next year too.

Richard Matthews sent me a Face Book message asking me to come to his pot luck Taquito and Tequila dinner on Monday so I guess I will.

I Mowed the lawn, fed the dogs, and took Mike Romero and Kyle Foote to Leatherbys for ice cream. I had a banana split, Kyle a chocolate malt, and Mike a mud pie.

On the way over, in front of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church on 3rd North they were crucifying three guys in diapers on a cross in front of the church. Good heavens!

23 April 2011 Saturday

Kyle Foote, Mike Romero, and I went to CJ for breakfast then went pricing a hot tub and sauna for a new deck. Kyle estimated all in all everything would be about $15,000 which is cheaper than a new car and the price of Gas. I could stay home and soak and bake the old carcass. Mike Romero called American First to get me approved. A Chicken Coop, Shed removal, deck, tub and sauna...ah might as well make my twilight years relaxing.

I changed my profile picture on Face book to one Kyle took of me on my 60th birthday and this kid named Chris Wadsworth messaged me saying woof! He wrote “Mmmmm. I want to snuggle up next to you and rest my head on your hairy chest and I'd sleep perfect all night.” I wrote him back “any time but must warn you I snore and Buddy my schnauzer likes the left side.”

Kyle Foote went to a White Trash Party at the Club Jam on 3rd West.

24 April 2011 Easter Sunday

I miss having Easter in the park with a banquet provided by my aunts and grandma. All we cousins had to do is find Easter eggs and then our moms filled our plates with Aunt Beulah's yummy potato salad, baked ham, and beans and deviled eggs and coconut cake and banana pudding. I loved Aunt Bonnie's banana pudding!

I was up early about 7 this morning to play Martha by starting prepping for a turkey dinner later in the day and also to straighten the house.

Kyle Foote and I went off to First Baptist where they had a packed house for Easter Service. There was a huge turnout. I was doing pretty well until we sang “In the Garden” and then I was flooded with emotions and I started weeping so I couldn’t sing any longer.

Grandpa Johnson use to sing that when he led music at Church and I heard it so many times in the context of being with family that I had to fight from crying. We also sung “He Arose” which also choked me up but not quite as much.

Dennis McCracken the organist is back from his accident playing after his physical therapy.

At the house We had dinner about two o’clock and Michael Romero came over with a new spring frock for Coco. Kyle Foote had a friend named Kellen Perkins come over also.

I made deviled eggs, cream cheese and celery, turkey, gravy, potatoes, yam, corn, okra, and black eyed peas. I also made a yogurt pie. I feel close to my mom and aunts and grandma Williams when I'm in the kitchen making the same things they made and loved.

After dinner Kyle, Kellen, and I went briefly to the Easter Bonnet Contest at the Trapp. I wore my red pill box hat with my “Nixon Now” button.  Hardly anyone was there but maybe it was still early even though it was 4:30.

Kyle then went off to the show with his friends and I stayed home and cleaned up. Chris Wadsworth this young musician on Face Book wants to meet this week. I am flattered that he wants to meet up with this old fart.

The obituary I placed in the Lubbock Avalanche paper for all of mom and dad's friends and relatives still living in Texas, was printed in the Easter Sunday edition.

“Wilma June Williams Beloved mother, sister, and aunt. Wilma June Williams passed away April 13, 2011, in Mesa, Ariz. June was born June 3, 1929, in Shamrock, Texas, to JW Johnson Sr. and Tressie M. McLeod, former residents of Hart Camp, Texas. She is the sister of JW Johnson Jr., former resident of Lubbock, now Amarillo.

June was the widow of Edgar H. Williams, whom she married March 20, 1947, in Olton, Texas. They moved to California and raised a family in Garden Grove. June is survived by her children, Charline Wachs of San Tan Valley, Ariz., Donna Fay Jones of Yucaipa, Calif., and Edgar H. Williams Jr. of Salt Lake City, Utah; her grandchildren, James E. Clark, Denise Wachs, Michael Wachs, Kenneth Jones and Kevin Jones; and her great-grandchildren, Nathan Ferguson, Abby Clark, Jaydon Clark, Diedre Jones and Kenneth Jones.

She is also survived by many relatives and friends still living on the west Texas Plains. Faithful members of the Church of Christ, she and her husband attended Broadway Church of Christ while residents of Lubbock.”

My cousin’s son Chris Johnson wrote: “I stayed up past midnight so I could read it last night. It seems the soul would never see a rainbow if it weren't for tears. If we are happy with life, maybe we shouldn't be too unhappy with death since it comes from the hand of the same maker. Doesn't mean we don't miss them though.”

I wrote him back, “Oh Chris you should have seen us blubber back in the 1960's when grandma and grandpa came to visit us in CA and they were leaving to go back to Texas. We wailed and carried on and boo-hooed and blubbered, surprise the cops weren't called on us. Mom and Grandma could hardly be pulled apart. Your grandma Johnson passed down to us a sentimental gene and we tear up at the drop of a hat. As I get older I am worse. Just talked to your Aunt Kay she had a nice Easter with Jennifer and her family. Hope you did the same.”

Chris wrote, “We did, no drama, no excitement but I like it that way. (ha) I never saw that much emotion from the Johnson's I knew but I never thought that much of it I suppose.”

I responded, “When my sister Donna and I stayed with Grandma Johnson there were always tears at coming and going. Grandma was very sentimental. Caught her tearing up a lot over silly things. She couldn't watch Bonanza after Hoss died. She never opened a letter from Aunt Pearl that came a few weeks before Pearl died. Half the time she wrote us she said she was bawling over some news or another. She was so tender hearted inside while tough on the outside. I miss brushing out her hair.”

25 April 2011 Monday

I Just got home from Richard Matthews’ Taquitos and Tequila Party for his Simply Social group. I was the First to arrive first to leave.

It hailed blue blazes on the way over. There were lots of nice people there and a mixed age group. Of course I was the oldest but some were not too far behind. It was Good to see Kevin Hillman and his partner Ryan and Duane Jennings and Brian Bennington and others.

This one guy named James loved, I mean loved the Bread Pudding I brought.  Kyle Foote was there also but never said hi to me. I guess they are moving the events to Tuesdays from now on.

26 April 2011 Tuesday

Phoebe Snow who sang “Poetry Man” died today. That song was so beautiful and meaningful for me and how I felt about many of the boys I fell in love with as a young man.”

27 April 2011 Wednesday

Michael Aaron reported that Roseanne Barr is going to be this year’s Grand marshal for Pride day.

I Finally got a chance to sit down and watch “Stonewall Uprising” on PBS. It was Very well done only slightly disappointed that there was no mention of the death of Judy Garland just a few days before. all early accounts mention that the Gay community was moody from the funeral just days prior.

28 April 2011 Thursday

At school I was given a rose bush and a couple of books by the staff for the death of mom. That was thoughtful. My sister Charline Wachs called this evening and said that she picked up mom’s cremains and took her home. We talked about what to do this summer. She said that if 25 people are at the funeral then we would have to pay $800 for a funeral director and if we have her buried with dad that’s almost a $1000 more. It’s also about $300 more to have Mom interred on a Saturday.

I suggested that we just have a small interment with just immediate family, have the interment on Friday and bury mom in the plot next to dad which we already own.  I said to her ask Cousin Stephanie to find a restaurant with a banquet room and we can have a family get together there.  She was good with all that. I also said don’t bother with a probate lawyer until June and take the month of May off to rest.

The Q SL’s Fabby Awards came out today and I don’t know why it bothers me so much that they pit columnists against each other. How would they feel if they had a group for Best Staff Member?

Of Course Troy Williams came in first. Who can compete with his PR machine?  Half the time he doesn’t even write a column but just transcribes his KRCL interviews.

Donald Steward aka Ruby Ridge was in 2nd place and I was in 3rd. I have been nominated every year and am always the bridesmaid and never the bride. I told Mike I wasn’t go to the Fabby’s and he didn’t want to go either so Kyle Foote can go if he wants to by himself.

I wrote to Seth Bracken the following “Please do not include me in the Fabby’s again. As I told Chad Keller I do not like popularity contests. If you want to promote this for a revenue enhancer from sponsors fine but leave me out of it.”

29 April 2011 Friday

It’s getting harder to find things for my kids to do at school now that the year is winding down. It was class picture day today.

Jon Jepson sent out the nominees for the Kristen Ries Awards. I was pissed that Valarie Larabee was nominated. She’s a paid Gay and is the Director of Pride Center that Pride day benefits. I will just be sick if she gets it. The others were Michael Aaron, Eric Ethington, the two lawyers for JD Bell.

I called Chuck Whyte and he was upset too. Not sure who to vote for between Michael Aaron and Eric but since I nominated Eric I guess I will vote for him. Michael Aaron is a paid Gay too now that he’s has the Q but he’s not actually a paid executive director.

Michael Romero came over in a huff. He wouldn’t let Coco finish her dinner and stormed off. He’s in one of his shitty moods.

30 April 2011 Saturday

I called Mike Romero this morning to see if he wanted to go out to breakfast but he was still pissed about something and said he had to work, which is a lie or he would have dropped Coco off.

It was a gloomy day anyway. There was Snow on the ground this morning. I just read from “The Devil in the White City” for most of the morning. Kyle Foote entertained a 22 year old snow boarder named Austin last night.

In the afternoon Kyle and I went grocery shopping and made a pot of potato cheese soup.

In the late afternoon Chris Wadsworth who had contacted me on Face Book a few days back asked if he could come over before going into work.  He’s tall and husky and 27 years old.

We visited some while Kyle took a nap and we cuddled before he left for work at Red Rocks but to my surprise he came back shortly after that because work didn’t need him after all. He’s a bartender there.

I fed him some soup and when Kyle was up he met Chris before heading off to another event. A Sun Glasses shop grand opening.  Chris and I watched the Ritz in the big screen room and afterwards cuddle on my bed. He wanted to do more but I wasn’t prepared so I said next time.

He left about 11:30 tonight. It was a pleasant way to be held by a young man on this last day of April.

MAY

1 May 2011 Sunday May Day Beltane

This evening, I heard the news that Osama Bin Laden is dead. He was killed by American special combat forces who found him hiding in Afghanistan. It was thrilling news and Kyle Foote and I watched the President make a speech about it.

It was a beautiful day here in Salt Lake City, finally just kind of nippy. I was missing mom today because Sundays were the days I generally called her.

I finished reading The Devil in the White City today. I just laid in bed and read, until 2 in the afternoon.  It was a Very interesting book and only Wished it had more photos.

Mike Romero came over this evening for dinner and to pick up Coco who he had dropped off earlier. I made tacos for dinner.

Kyle made a new design for the deck having a step down for the hot tub rather than having it up on the deck.

Kyle Foote wrote to Zach Seach, “Where are you? I've texted you a few times. I got the text about your phone being off that day, but I haven't heard from you since then. What's up???”

2 May 2011 Monday

Kyle Foote left this morning for Los Angeles to do a taping for Judge Joe Brown’s program. An ex-boyfriend is suing him for bail money and by doing this show, it will be paid by the producers.

It’s going to get harder and harder at school keeping the kids on track now that May is here.  I have some bursitis in my left shoulder. I rubbed muscle ointment rub on it and while it felt good it also stunk up the house.

All the chatter on the news is about Osama Bin Laden death.

I fixed fish and shrimp for dinner and a salad. I baked a meat loaf for tomorrow and did two loads of laundry.

3 May 2011 Tuesday

It was much cooler today but I made the kids I am keeping in, run more.

When Mike Romero came over for dinner, I fixed him meat loaf, mashed potatoes and yellow squash with peas and carrots. We Had a nice salad too.

After feeding the dogs we went down to Sutherland’s for Senior Discount Tuesday when I can get 10 per cent off. We had to get some weed killer and other garden stuff.

Randy Gile met us at Sutherlands because he was in the neighborhood and we visited for a while about his new place. We Told him how Alysse old school friend Jordan is moving into the Townhouse just up from Mike’s and Randy also said that Costco had the best deal on hot tubs, if I was going to get one.

I picked up Kyle Foote up from the airport at 8:00 this evening. He said his hotel was right down town in Hollywood.

Kyle wrote his friend Dallin Garber a series of messages about his life. Kyle referred to him as “Dal Pal”  who asked, “what are you doing?” Kyle Foote responded, “relaxing at home just got back from LA. You?” Dal Pal said, “oh nice. just showered and I'm hungry lol” Kyle Foote commented, “all clean and ready to strap on the feed bag eh?” Dal Pal replied, “yes sir. you hungry?” Kyle Foote answered, “I'd like to say I was, but I ate like a pig all day today and all day yesterday.” Dal Pal responded, “Oh. Lol. Never mind.”

Kyle Foote said, “not sure what about traveling makes me eat like a fat girl. sorry stud muffin.” Dal Pal replied, “ it's all good I'll just be buffin' with my muffin.” Kyle Foote said, “I bet you are.” Dal Pal signed off “ok have a good night friend Talk To You Later .” Kyle Foote replied, “you too stud enjoy your muffin.”

4 May 2011 Wednesday

Kyle Foote told me of his Hollywood experience going on Judge Joe Brown. He said he was put in a nice hotel next to the studio and that they keep the defendants and plaintiffs in separate buildings and don’t even see each other until they walk into the court room. Kyle said he was being a smart ass to the judge on purpose because he wanted his old boyfriend Stephen to get the money.

I had an early morning faculty meeting and learned that Judy Winegar our secretary, Joan Simons, the library, and Diane Pulley are retiring at the end of the school year. I really liked Judy and will miss her.  My principal Liz was crying when she made the announcement, the tender hearted thing.

All that is in the news is Bin Laden this and Bin Laden that and how Pakistan is a pile of crap.

5 May 2011 Thursday

It’s Cinco de Mayo! Mike Romero and I had tickets to go see Sunset Blvd. at the Pioneer Memorial Theater at the U. We had dinner at Wingers on 4th South  first. Mike got the sizzling Chicken Special and I had a cilantro lime chicken because after all it was Cinco de Mayo.

The play started at 7:30 and we had nearly front row seats. We were on Row two but had aisle seats so didn’t have to feel crowded. Mike absolutely loved the play and I really liked it although the music isn’t my favorite Weber and Rice musical. However the sets and costumes were outstanding and the performances good.

During the intermission we went outside to get some fresh air and it was a gorgeous night with a light breeze. When we went in I saw Jim Dabakis and went up and gave him a hug. He introduced me to his friend as his “Historian” ha!  It was a pleasant evening but didn’t get home to after ten and was nearly 11 before hitting the sack.

Kyle Foote wrote to Zach Seach “Text me, I've got a party planned tonight and I want you to be there! Hopefully you get this....”

6 May 2011 Friday

The Kids are getting rowdy as always at this time of year. We played kickball, and we set our butterflies free since almost all of them had hatched. I also had my evaluation today with My principal Liz Beck. I know she loves me because I keep my kids out of trouble and try to make life easier for her.

At home Kyle Foote was out having a birthday party for Christine Johanson’s boys so I didn’t see him until late.

Mike Romero came over and we ate spaghetti and salad for dinner. When Kyle came home he said the cement guy is coming tomorrow for an estimate and the window guys on Monday.

I want to take my bedroom window out and make it a door that would open onto the patio.  Kyle didn’t go to the Fabby’s Awards after all.

I then spent the rest of the evening writing my Lambda Lore Column for the Q. I wrote it on an old SLC hippie Charlie Brown Artman from the 1960’s and 70’s.

7 May 2011 Saturday

What a long but fruitful day it was! Weather was perfect for all that we had to accomplish.  I mowed the back yard early this morning and then Kyle Foote was up and we started in on the back yard.

He started popping nails out of the shed while I was cutting down the Honey Suckle plant that grew alongside the deck. The cement man came and gave us an estimate of about $2000 to pour concrete for the deck and hot tub but Kyle got him down to $1800.

Later Kyle’s friend Hopoi Heimuli from Club Jam and his brothers came over to help move the shed. It was a lot of work.

Darren Solomon dropped by and Kyle put him to work also helping move the shed. Getting the roof off was the hardest part but then we put the shed on logs and pushed rolled it over to the spot Kyle had made for it by the fence and in front of the concrete pad.  Then we had to get the roof back on!

Kyle’s other friend Anthony came over about then and helped Kyle put the side panels back on. The Heimuli brothers also moved all my paving rocks and stones which was quite a bit of work by itself.

I ordered three pizzas and bought drinks and also gave Hopoi $50 for gas money even though they said they just wanted to be of help.

We quit about 5 because it was Saturday night and Kyle was going out to dinner with Christine Johanson and her friends for dinner.

I just tidied up the yard and watched some Kathy Griffin B List before going to bed. I was so sore, stiff, and tired but truly grateful to have the shed moved after all these years.

8 May 2011 Sunday Mother’s Day

It was a Completely different day than yesterday. It was gloomy, rainy and chilly for much of the day especially the afternoon. Kyle’s caught a cold or has allergies. He’s not sure which.

Michael Romero came over about 11 this morning and Kyle, Mike and me returned the reciprocating saw back to Home Depot, stopped at Target to get some groceries, and medicine for Kyle, and then we all went to Red Rocks for a late brunch. I had a Reuben Sandwich but the rest had brunch. I used then gift card that Jim Dabakis gave me for my birthday. It wasn’t very crowded for Mother’s Day I thought but we had a nice time.

Chris Wadsworth was working so I gave him a hug and he came over to greet Mike and Kyle. He said his band is playing at the Garage next Saturday.

After lunch/brunch we stopped at Smith’s where I gave Kyle some money to get some flowers to take out to Kyle’s mom’s and grandma’s grave in Sandy. Then dark clouds came up and it really turned chilly. I guess the 6th of May was the anniversary of his father’s death too.  So we paid our respects in the cemetery and then came home and snuggled in for the rest of the evening.

Mike went home and Kyle and I watched Season Three of the Kathy Griffin show before I went off to bed. It rained most of the evening.

Buddy wasn’t feeling feel today. He pooped in the house and threw up a little. I think he’s really nervous about the yard being all tore up.  He’s such a sensitive fellow.

9 May 2011 Monday

It rained all day and so the kids had an indoor recess day. Ugh!  We took the first part of the CRT Math Test today.

Right after work, I went and picked Kyle Foote up and we went to America First Credit Union to get the papers they had in for money for the deck. They said it may take several days for it to be processed.  We went to Del Taco for dinner.

Kyle still has a cold but he got an estimation for the windows. $2800 for both the dining room and my room. Also $3200 for a hot tub.

10 May 2011 Tuesday

I Hadn’t heard back from the loan people from American 1st Credit Union except for a guy wanting me to switch my car loan over to them from Horizon at a better rate. He said I could borrow the $1800 I need for the concrete guy from the car. I hope so.

Kyle  Foote is anxious to start demolishing but I am a little concern about starting anything until the financing is in place. He called the concrete guys to come over Thursday instead of Wednesday.

I fixed polish sausages and beans and potatoes for dinner then Kyle and I went to Sutherland to buy a sledge hammer to use with knock down the deck.  It’s been a month since my birthday.

Fernando Noriega wrote to Kyle regarding Kyle wanting to write for the Salty Gossip column called OMG. He asked, “How much lead time do you need for an article?” Kyle answered, “About 2 days would be ideal.” Fernando answered, “Thurs afternoon ok or should we slot you in for next toes?”

11 May 2011 Wednesday

After work, I went to the America First Credit Union to see about the car loan. I borrowed $9000 against the Chrysler PT Cruiser. I only owed $4500 on it but getting the extra $4500 I thought would help out before the equity loan comes in another week.  I needed $1800 for the cement guy this weekend.  My new car payment is only $171, which is less than the $211 I am paying now at Horizon.

I didn’t get home until after 5:00 in the late afternoon so I didn’t fix dinner. Mike Romero said he wasn’t hungry anyway because they had Grove Sandwiches at his work and they are monster huge sandwiches.

So Kyle Foote and ordered Chinese Food from Golden Pearl. We also ordered the Hot Tub tonight for $4500 on my Chase Credit Card which I will pay off as soon as I get the equity money.  So I guess it’s a reality that I am redoing the deck and getting a hot tub.

Michael Aaron called me all excited that he got the Kristen Ries Community Service Award this year. I was very excited for him but I didn’t tell him that I had voted for Eric Ethington. I kind of had to since I had nominated him.

12 May 2011 Thursday

I got a phone call from my sister Charline while I was on in the yard this evening. She said the last time they would open Mom’s grave is 3 in the afternoon, so I said July 3rd at 3 pm should work for me. I will drive down on Thursday spend the night in Vegas or Mesquite then drive on in.

She’s not going to do a lawyer but will just bring all the papers and will to California and we can sit down and go through it then.

At school I made arrangements for a sub for tomorrow and got a house plant for Kathy Jasperson, my title one tutor assistant. It’s her last day tomorrow and I won’t be here.

I Made some spaghetti for dinner and Kyle Foote had some friends come by and knock down the deck.  The cement guy came by and laid out the forms to pour tomorrow.

The Q came out today with my article on Charlie Brown Artman. I got more responses on this than my AIDS one.

13 May 2011 Friday

It seemed like a Long day. I was up at 3:30 this morning to make sure the dogs knew how to go outside through the garage now that the back deck is gone but they really just wanted to sleep with me. I Had very vivid strange dreams about building the deck. It’s a big undertaking.

I took the dogs out about 6:30 this morning and raked up some leaves and trash. When Kyle Foote got up I fixed us some breakfast and I took the dogs for a ride. Coco came through the front door with no problems.

After Matt the cement guy came, Kyle and I went to the dump with one load of lumber and then we went to Lowes where he picked out the new lumber and hardware that he is having delivered Sunday. $4200! Yikes! It seems like so much but much less than a new car. But it’s going to be more than that because we didn’t buy any of the railing yet.

I didn’t have enough credit on my Lowes card so Kyle called and had it bumped to $4200 so we could get started.

They had the cement poured by the time we returned so we waited for them to finish up and we ate some lunch. They did a fantastic job and said the dogs should be able to walk over it tomorrow.

Kyle and I then took another load out to the dump, then came home to work on the patio area we are building next to the tub. I am bringing all the patio bricks over to near the chicken coop so it will be the third time I’ve moved these paving stones.

But before I could do that Kyle and I built a fire pit with bricks I had and Castle stones. It looks really nice but tomorrow we have to get the sand.

In the evening Kyle went off to dinner with the First Baptist Pastor, Curtis Price, and I stayed home because the Giles were coming over to pay me some money. They gave me a thousand dollar check and we visited for about an hour showing them the improvements and just visiting until about 9 when they had to go pick up Kayla from a party.

So I was in bed by 10 pm after a very long and tiresome day.  Tomorrow is going to be busy too!

14 May 2011 Saturday

Every bone in my body is tired. Kyle Foote and I worked all day with putting in the paving stones around the fire pit and that took way more time then Kyle had intended. I dug up the old bricks, cleaned them off, and hauled them to the new location.

We then went to Staker’s gravel pit and bought a ton of sand and the poor truck was really loaded down. We shoveled and wheeled it over to form a base to put the pavers in and then Kyle thought we should put gravel around it all. We went back and we bought “Rainbow Pebble” that cost about $150. So we worked on that and didn’t get to drill the concrete for the posts holes until late in the day so I had to pay extra for keeping the drill late. I also rented a compressor and that was $80.

We watched some Kathy Griffin and I went to bed exhausted.

Today is the anniversary that John Cunningham killed himself 4 years ago.

15 May 2011 Sunday

The day started off with Kyle Foote cussing out the Lowe’s delivery guy because he wouldn’t put the pile of lumber where we wanted it dropped. After paying $4200 you think we could have the stuff placed where we wanted but he dropped it in front of the garage blocking in my car!

I fixed Kyle and me some pancakes and then we started in on back and it wasn’t long until Zach Seach, Kyle’s 22 year old friend from Tooele came over to help. We got a lot of the framing done and while it was busy it didn’t seem nearly as hard as yesterday putting in the fire pit patio.

It was very windy today and we worked until about 6:30. I am so grateful for Kyle and his friend.  It really is looking good.

16 May 2011 Monday

I’m Back to work and the kids are just going bonkers. I was glad to leave school.

I Went and picked up a pizza for dinner and pulled out $50 to give to Zach Seach who’s been helping us. He and Kyle worked putting up most of the main joices today. But because it’s going to rain for the rest of the week we took all the tools back to Home Depot. The miter saw, the pneumatic nail gun, the compressor, and the power drill. It cost me $400 to rent all that equipment and I am going to have to do it again this weekend. Ouch but it saves time and if it saves time it saves money.

Mike Romero’s being a little stand offish. Wonder what is going on with him.

17 May 2011 Tuesday

It rained and rained all day until nearly 2 in the afternoon.  I mean buckets. I had enough kids absent today that I just put on a Walt Disney movie The Hunchback of Notre Dame during the morning time.

I deposited a $1000 into my Horizon checking account and bought a little groceries. I made Mizithra Cheese Spaghetti, garlic bread, and a salad for dinner.

Kyle Foote went off to Richard Matthews’ dinner party and I wrote articles for the Q.

18 May 2011 Wednesday

It just rained and rained again all day. These in door recesses are just brutal.

I made Taco Soup for dinner. It was a soup day for sure.  Today was John Reeves and Chad Keller’s birthdays.

A man came out to measure the window and sliding door that are to be replaced.  I also Got some quotes on wiring a 220 outlet for the hot tub also. Quotes were from  $1600 and $400. What a big difference!

19 May 2011 Thursday

It was pouring this morning and the dogs really didn’t want to go out to pee. I Couldn’t blame them. Another dark gloomy rainy day.

I put on Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, the old Gene Wilder one, for the kids and played Diplomacy for the last time today.

After work I went by Smith’s and got some milk and stuff and pulled out $20 for Kyle Foote’s date tonight. He’s worked so hard, even with a cold, on the deck last weekend that he needs a little R & R. Kyle said he got another quote for the 220 outlet- $100 if he does all the other wiring. Also the Hot Tub will be delivered in about 10 days.

I found on Ancestry dot com grandpa Green Williams’ death date. He is mentioned in the 1880 US Mortality Census as dying of Catarrh Fever which I guess was like a severe cold and congestion.

Kyle  Foote wrote to Rick Schwartz about a website leasing. He said, “Hello, I saw your domain www.orgy.com and was interested in finding out more about leasing and/or purchasing this domain from you for a website I am setting up. I’m not sure how to go about this with you, could you please let me know the process and pricing involved for something like this? Regards, Kyle.”

20 May 2011 Friday

The Thunder and lightning scared Daisy and Buddy at 4 in the morning so they came running in and jumped into bed. It was a rolling type of thunder we don’t usually get.

I Ordered school supplies for next year and tried to get a sub for next Friday so I can stay home and help with the Hot Tub. Kyle wanted me to come home as soon as I could to go to Sutherlands for some more supplies. He worked on making a template for the main stair case but we called it quits about 7 this evening.

Rick Schwartz wrote to Kyle regarding Orgy.com Website Leasing saying it would cost $1000/mo and 5% of the gross. Kyle wrote back  “Hello Rick, Thanks for the quick response. What is the length and terms of the lease? Do you have a standard lease agreement you use? I'm interested in moving forward. Kyle.”

21 May 2011 Saturday

No one got raptured today like the idiot Christians were forecasting. Well at least I didn’t.

I was up early hauling paving stones off the grass so they wouldn’t kill it and cleaning house. Kyle didn’t get up to 10 this morning because he went to Club Jam’s last night but he worked his butt off the rest of the day.

We got two of the descending stair steps done. Kyle was in a cranky mood this morning and told Zak Seach we didn’t need him today when we could have used any help. He was mad that he hadn’t called him sooner and that he wouldn’t get here until the afternoon. Well Kyle wasn’t even up until 10, himself.  I just shut my mouth on that one.

In the evening Kyle was not feeling well and said he thought he got too much sun or hadn’t drank enough liquids. We quit at 8 this evening. I put in a 12 hour day and Kyle a 10 hour but his more labor intensive although moving rocks isn’t easy either.

22 May 2011 Sunday

It Turned out to be a productive day and a really labor intense one.  We returned all the treated lumber to Lowes for a refund of $375, finished planking the lower deck, and put in the joices.

I cooked a pot roast, with potatoes, gravy and corn. I also made some Chili Verde for dinner.  I am just bone tired today but it was great to see some of the decking getting planks put on.  In the late afternoon it became nice again to work. I put in another 10 hour day.

23 May 2011 Monday

I Didn’t feel well today. Think I over did it yesterday. Kids are antsy and ready to be out of school. I Made arrangements for us to go Bowling the last day of school.

When I Came home and Kyle was working on the steps.  He finished nailing in all the joices too.  I carried in about 10 of the 8 foot planks of trexs before we called it a day. It started to rain again anyway.

I made smothered Chili Verde burritos for dinner.  Mike Romero said he went to “Strut Your Mutt” on Saturday with Coco.

I got a card and letter from his mom today thanking me for the flowers for Mother’s Day.

I’m Trying to get extra tickets from Michael Aaron for Pride Day and the committee finally sent me info on volunteering at the VIP booth on Saturday the 4th of June.

Kyle went off to see a friend tonight and I watched some Simpsons before calling it a night.

24 May 2011 Tuesday

It was pouring rain this morning and I thought oh great! The Bee’s Game is today and all I need is to be sitting with 40 kids drenched to the bone. I packed for the worse but actually it cleared up and was beautiful while we were at the Spring Mobile Stadium.

The Bee’s played Memphis and lost. I was bored out of my mind. But the rest of the day went really fast.

Kyle Foote texted me to pull out $40 from my credit union because he found this kid named Ricardo who agreed to come over to move all the decking from the driveway to the back yard. I am so grateful for that.  Later I was pretty sure the kid really just wanted to get to have sex with Kyle also.

Kyle finished the grand stairs leading down from the deck and worked enough on the upper deck to let the dogs finally use the doggy door again.  We also went to Sutherlands and bought two hanging swings.

We looked at railing for the deck and decided to see what was online where we then bought metal rails to finish the deck off with. I gave my Chase Credit Card to Kyle so he could over the material. It should look really nice.

Mike Romero came over and I fixed hamburgers for our supper tonight.

25 May 2011 Wednesday

I only had 12 kids here today so I put on a movie “Witches” until the rest got back from the District’s Olympiads. I wasn’t feeling very well today and I bit the side of my tongue again. God that hurts and now it is sore.

I came home about 4 in the afternoon and Anthony was over helping Kyle do the top deck. It’s about 2/3 done. I fixed him dinner of Alfredo Chicken, Garlic Bread and a salad but Kyle didn’t want to eat much because he was going over to his friend’s Christine Johanson for dinner. He took my dinner salad because he was supposed to bring a salad. Mike Romero said he wasn’t very hungry either.

I mowed the front yard. The grass was a half a foot tall. I also decided to do some weeding. All the rain we have been having is making everything like a jungle. We had over two inches of rain this month.

In the evening I got a surprise call from Mark Andersen asking if he could spend a couple of nights because he is fighting again with his girlfriend Jessica. I said he could but he had to be gone when Mike comes to pick up Coco because I don’t want to deal with the drama between the two of them.

I watched the season finale of Glee and then got ready for Bed. It’s 9 and I haven’t heard from Mark so maybe he’s not coming.

26 May 2011 Thursday

Mark Anderson did come over about 10:00 last night when I was already in bed. I put him in the movie room but didn’t stay up to visit. I Just went to bed so I would be functional for school today.

At school, I made arrangements for a substitute for tomorrow and had a phone call from American 1st Credit Union saying that my loan papers are ready to be signed. I said I’d do it tomorrow.

When I came home at 4 this afternoon I was surprised to find that the hot tub had been delivered and placed on its side in the back yard so we don’t have to doing anything more than set it upright. That is such a huge relief. Hot Tub delivered today and they even put it the backyard next to where it will go. Wahoo!

Chevy (Stephen Bolinder) was over also to give the dogs a haircut. That was a hundred dollars right there but they needed it. I told Chevy that his Back porch Mobile Groomer business should have been called the Backdoor Doggie Stylist. LOL.

Read in the Q that Ben Barr is being honored by the Pride center with a Life Time Achievement award. I wonder if any of those people have even met Ben? He left the state about 15 years ago, and while he deserves it, I think he is getting because his sister Roseanne is the Grand Marshal this year.

Mark Andersen spent the night again and this time we talked a little.  I guess Jessica told him to leave until he got his temper under control so he’s in counseling. They have a house down in Sandy now.

27 May 2011 Friday

I Went out to CJ’s on 9th east and 39th South for breakfast with Kyle Foote and Mike Romero. When we back home, we man handled the tub into position.  Now we just have to build a frame around it.

Kyle started building the platform around it, while I went and signed for the $10,000 equity loan and also picked up the VIP passes for Pride Day from the center.

Later I cut brush down around the yard for Monday's community pickup. I worked in the front yard mostly cutting back the honey suckles and other over grown bushed along the fence line.

Kyle had a coffee date with a guy named Aaron Wood at 4 this afternoon  and another cocktail date at 9. The difference between 60 and 30 is that Kyle went on two dates while I stayed home and watched Kathy Griffin and went to bed at 9.  It was a beautiful day.

28 May 2011 Saturday

Kyle Foote wanted to get a lot done today before the late afternoon when it was supposed to rain. We got all the framing done and all the joices done except the west side which shouldn’t be as hard.

I mowed the back yard and dragged all the shrubbery rubbish out to the curb.  We quit at4:30 when the rains came again.

I've got a “code in my noze”...stupid weather. If I wanted to live in Portland I'd move to Portland! I think I am starting to grow mold in places I don't want to grow mold.

I was bored last night so I made Kyle drive me and the hounds around downtown. I was hoping to see some drenched Drag Queens's but didn't. I did have a lovely Arctic Circle 70 cent hamburger and large fries while DQ watching.

Additional Note: Unknown to me at the time Kyle started formalizing his scheme and creating a porn web site called “Orgy.com”.

29 May 2011 Sunday

I woke up to rain this morning. I had a coughing fit last night. Something has gone down into the chest. When I got up I fixed Kyle Foote bacon, eggs, and pancakes, before heading off to First Baptists.  He wanted to go to church today and it’s been since Easter. It was another great sermon from Pastor Curtis. Kyle and I both hugged him on the way out.

At home I invited Mike Romero over for dinner but he must be gone somewhere because he never replied. I fixed spaghetti, a salad, and garlic bread for Sunday dinner.

I Talked to Chuck this morning and he said he got a Life Time Achievement Award from the Royal Court. Good for him.

In the afternoon I asked Kyle if he wanted to go looking at patio furniture and take the dogs for a ride. If there is a will there is a way. At Shopko in Bountiful Kyle and I bought four over size stackable patio chairs and I thought we could get them into the PT Cruiser with Daisy and Buddy. It was a one day sale so we had to buy them now. Kyle crammed it all in but I had to ride like a pretzel in the back with two nervous schnauzers. When we came home, it was still raining so it was time for a nap.

Kyle wanted to go to Coronation but didn’t have any money, so I said let’s just crash it. I wanted to see Rev. Bruce Barton and his son Troy anyway, and shortly after we got there Troy and Bruce were about to do the two decade walk for Bruce Harmon who was Emperor XX.

Bruce Barton wore a t-shirt with Empress Bianca picture on it and Troy wore one with his daddy Bruce Harmon. It was very touching and when he came down from the walk I went up to Bruce and we held each other and cried a little. I gave him a good long hug. We share a lot of SLC memories.

I saw Chuck Whyte had on so many baubles and rhinestones. I said I'd hug you but I am afraid of getting poked.

Chevy Bolinder looked fabulous and said Nova Starr had taken 2 hours just to do her makeup. Truly at 1st, I didn't recognize her.

I hugged Walt Larabee who was looking rather frail. I also saw a few of the old warriors there. I told Bruce Barton that we're not Gay Seniors but "Gay Classics" who never go out of style and have past the muster of time.

I have to say this for the Royal Court on this night and every Coronation night, that there is more Glamour and elegance in SLC then any other night.

I told Kyle on the way home that the Court is no different than any other fraternal charitable organization like the Shriners or the Odd Fellows except they are odder and wear better hats. It was a Busy fun day. It started with the 1st Baptists and ended with Drag queens in ball gowns. Who says there's nothing to do on Sunday in Salt lake City?

30 May 2011 Monday Memorial Day

It was Another washed out day. It rained, hailed, sunshined, than rain and hailed again. Crazy weather.

Kyle met someone at Club Jam and spent the night with him so I didn’t see him until about 10:30 this morning.

I cut down some more of the bushes along the front fence line when he came in and I asked if he wanted to go to breakfast and shopping.  We went to International House of Pancakes on 21st South and we had a long visit about each other’s dads. I guess that related to Memorial Day.

Then we went to Lowes where we found the perfect wire mesh outdoor table for the deck. It was only $50 so we bought 3 chairs to go along with it.

There was a break in the weather so Kyle and I finished framing the last of the deck surround the hot tub but then it rained again.

Mike Romero called and said he was dropping Coco off because she was antsy to come over and play with Daisy and Buddy.

In the late afternoon we took $250 worth of Trex back to Lowe’s and bought nine 16 footers. It cost about $100 more for the longer ones.

The weather cleared up enough in the late afternoon and early evening that we were able to lay down some more planks around the hot tub. We got a lot done after all.

I called my cousin Kay Campbell after she posted on face book that the Texas Wildfires were just yards away from her house and she had to evacuate. My uncle JW Johnson is pretty frail also.

31 May 2011 Tuesday

So ends the merry month of May but instead of flowers we just had showers. It was a hard day at school with nothing to do and the kids know the end is near. I Had three kids absence too so it’s really it was hard to do anything.

When I came home, Kyle Foote had all the planking done!. It just needed trimming; I fixed polish sausages, baked beans, fried potatoes and a salad for our dinner.

After feeding the dogs I went over to Michael Romero’s so he could give me another phone plug because the one I have won’t let my cell phone keep a charge.

Then I came back to the house and worked spading the ground where the slate stone patio will go in. Kyle put together the little iron mesh table we bought for the porch while I dug up the ground. It was tiring.

I weighed myself today and I was 260 lbs. so I’ve lost 10 lbs. this past month working on building the deck.

Well within a month, the shed was moved, all the paving stones was removed, the old deck torn down, got an equity loan and a car loan, had concrete poured, ordered a hot tub, and doors for the kitchen and bedroom, and built a deck. We May have gotten it done quicker if it would not have rained almost every other day.

I gave Kyle $50 today so he could have some cash on him.

JUNE

1 June 2011 Wednesday

It was Field Day at school and there’s so much I have to get done before Friday.

After school was out I went and bought items for the auction for the kids to use up their classroom money. Then I came home and made fish and shrimp for dinner.

Then I helped Kyle Foote finish the stair steps down to the Garden. It’s so the dogs can run directly down into the side yard. Daisy has been patiently waiting for it.

Now to wire the hot tub, put in the railings, and a roof over the hot tub and it will be finished.

It’s a good thing because Kyle starts back to school next week. School finishes for me this week and I'm about done in.

It was warm in the 70’s but in the evening it became overcast.

They still haven’t done the neighborhood cleanup. They said they were going to do it last Monday.  Kyle is out on a dinner date with  Aaron Wood who is a dancer.

2 June 2011 Thursday

Mrs. Petersen and I walked our kids over to 7-11 to buy them slurpies. It was a good 3 mile walk.  I was not feeling well today. I was up all night peeing so my sugars must have been out of whack. I Didn't sleep well at all. Too much going on with school shutting down, Pride Day coming up, and blood sugars too high. I’m Feel dizzy but better dizzy then ditsy I always say.

I just barely got through the day. The day was very cool too and I didn’t bring a jacket. Still have some kind of cough.

When I came home Kyle Foote was working on the wiring of the hot tub. He also bought a picnic table for the back yard. We struggled trying to get the heavy electrical wire into the conduit. We finally went to Sutherlands and bought a larger tube. Later we sprayed the tube with WD 40 and that helped a lot with the other wiring. Even though I didn’t feel well I felt it was my duty to stay with Kyle and we worked until 9 at night.

I wrote on Face Book: “Helped Kyle with wiring the hot tub after school. We had the hardest time trying to shove the electrical wires down this long tight tube. We push and we push and we barely made a dent. Then Kyle sprayed the hole with WD40 and it slid right in! You think that two Gay men would have known to use lube first.”

Andy Dalrymple wrote back” Did you tell the tube to push?

3 June 2011 Friday

Today would have been my sweet mama's 81st birthday. She was born in a four room shanty near Shamrock Texas and when they built Route 66 they removed the house back some 50 feet from the hwy. So a lot of travelers rode over the spot  where my mama came into this world.

Well school’s out for another year. I felt better than I did yesterday. I Was able to get all my grades printed off and took the kids bowling and had our classroom auction.

After lunch, I handed out report cards and sent them on their merry way. I gave Sabena the spider puppet she like so much even though she was a little pill all year. She does have a kind heart.

I came home about 2 this afternoon and the hot tub was filled and warming. The electricians wired what Kyle Foote couldn’t do but it only cost about $150 so that was great.

He trimmed off all the ends of the decking that was  sticking out so it’s all done except for the banisters and Kyle wants to enclose the hot tub.

Michael Romero came over to pick up Coco so I didn’t have to take her home. Yesterday he was helpful and caring. Today he was pissy again.

Anyway I told Chuck Whyte Kyle and I would get his and Brook Heartsong’s tickets for the Grand Marshall to him at 6:30. I am glad we went early because there was a screw up on the list of people who they had tickets for. They didn’t have one for Kyle Foote even though I spoke with Jon Jepson earlier this week to reserve me one for him.

The Lesbian gatekeepers said the event was sold out but I said I have a ticket so let me in and I will talk to Jon. He and Nikki Boyer are the co-chairs of the Pride Committee. Anyway he apologized and just called Kyle in and said don’t worry about buying a ticket but I gave him the check for $35 anyway.

So I think Kyle was impressed that I could get him into a sold out venue. I told him, see I am on the A-List and laughed. It was so good to see some many of the old crowd. I was telling people we were not seniors we are Gay Classics! They loved it.  I saw Coral Magnus and Andrea Dahl who I had not seen in 20 years and sat next to Walt Larabee with Brooke and Coral and Andrea. Both Coral and Brooke are on oxygen so I was sitting at the old person’s table.

Becky Moss sat across from me as did Todd Bennett and Ron Hunt, who were in their dress kilts. The table in front of us was reserved for the Barr Family. I saw Roseanne sitting just in front of me with her brother Ben.

I had searched out Ben earlier on the patio to say hi and hug and get a kiss.  He was getting a Life Time Achievement Award although he hasn’t lived in Utah for about 15 years. I Greeted his husband the cute Jon Peterson too.

The Mayor of SLC was presented the Pete Suazo Award and when Michael Aaron was presented Kristen Ries Award, Jon had all the former recipients who were present to stand in front of the podium for a photo op. That was a proud and humbling moment.

Charles Frost said some kind words to me about being a treasure, and Jim Dabakis said I should be getting an Award, and some Face Book friends approached me to say how much they appreciate me keep our history alive. Doug Bali especially flattered me.

I thought it funny when Jim Dabakis was talking to Michelle Turpin he asked “do you know Ben Williams” instead of him asking me if I knew Michelle Turpin LOL. And then she gushed “oh yes we met like we were old friends”. The phony. She wouldn’t have given me the time of day without Jim being there.

As we drove out of the parking lot Jim was leaning into Michelle Turpin’s car and we yelled “go work 3rd and Main” like he was hustling. It was funny to me.

At the Grand Marshal Award Reception at the Jewish Community Center Valarie Larabee announced that we are now the largest Parade in Utah with over 100 entries. Larger than the Days of 47.

Roseanne Barr stayed long enough to hear her brother give his talk after receiving the Life Time Achievement Award then she left. Mayor Becker called the Pride Parade the Gays of 47 Parade. I took a lot of pictures that will post tomorrow on FB.

Kyle circulated among the younger crowd and I think had a good time because he hugged me when we got home.  Kyle then went off to the underwear party at Club Jam while I went to bed.

4 June 2011 Saturday

This morning Kyle Foote, Mike Romero, and I went to CJ’s for breakfast. There this waitress that looks a lot like Roseanne Bar and acts just as fun, picked up on us being Gay and sat with us and asked if we were going to the Pride festival. When I told her that we had been at the Grand marshal Reception yesterday and saw Roseanne Barr, she only wanted to know if she had gone gray. LOL.

I volunteered at Pride Day today in the VIP lounge. Originally they had me down as a cashier but I ended up bussing tables like I wanted because they had so many cashiers.

I worked from 3:30 to 6:30 and Nikki Boyer asked me to volunteer next year and I said I would as long as I am able. We agreed that it’s fun.

I visited with Charles Frost and his cute hubby Doug Lott until Babs DeLay came and sat with them. She’s a cold one.

Earlier when I was bussing tables, Michelle Turpin was sitting with Michael Marriott and she didn’t even acknowledge me! LOL I guess Jim Dabakis wasn’t around to impress.

Dennis McCracken surprised me and asked me to speak next week at the First Baptist. That was a shocker. I said I would.

Kyle Foote bought these short shorts the emphasized his package and was being a cute young thing flittering about. We sat together to listen to Roseanne Barr’s address. She gave a hell raising speech which was surprisingly good. We tried to listen  to the Saliva Sisters perform which you couldn’t hear very well.

After listening to the Saliva Sisters, I had Kyle take me home about 8.

Thousands and thousands of people were in Washington Square today. It's only Saturday Pride Day and tomorrow they are expecting the largest turn out ever. The Parade is said to be larger than the Days of 47.

While I was bussing tables, I took time to look at the crowds & of course there was every stereotype from our community but I saw also a huge amount of families with children and hetero young couples, & I even saw an older black couple pushing strollers with Pride Paraphernalia loaded in them.

However Pride Day is truly no longer Gay Pride Day. It has morphed into something even greater. It's a day when all people who feel a little different can be proud of who and what they are and I think that is a great legacy for all the pioneers that kept Pride day going for the past 37 years. 25 years ago I attended my 1st Pride Day with 200 brave souls and now they are expecting 27,000.

Kevin Warren aka Ruadhan O'Sheridan wrote me “I just read your piece in the Pride edition of Q. Thank you for your recollections of Pride '86. My first Pride was in '89 at Sunnyside Park. I got to be a "parade" marshal for the first march in '90 and I remember how Pride jumped from about 3 or 400 to about a thousand in just one year and how huge I thought that was. I still look upon those times as the good old days, even though times were tougher then than they are now in so many ways. Keep those remembrances coming.”

5 June 2011 Sunday

It was the Hottest day of the year so far but just 87 degrees. I didn’t go to the Parade nor to the festival today but heard it was one of the largest so far. I gave my VIP passes to Kyle Foote because Michael Romero didn’t want to go but I told him that I’d have a Sunday ticket if he wanted to walk around and see the dogs but he didn’t pick that up either.

I stayed home and cleaned my dirty house. I wanted to get it clean for the summer. I did a ton of washing, and I started in on my bedroom changing sheets, cleaning up an accident that Coco had, and vacuuming.

On to the bathroom, I scrubbed and mopped and then I cleaned the front room really good by moving furniture, vacuuming, and cleaning Buddy’s pee spots.

Finally the dining room and kitchen were cleaned, dishes done and floors mopped. I worked from 9 to 3 just cleaning the house.

The month of May was spent building the deck and closing down school which left me too exhausted to clean.

I’ve come to realize that Kyle just isn’t domestic. It’s not in his nature to clean. He’s a builder. He builds things and constructs. So I guess we all have our roles.

I could never have done what Kyle did with the backyard. Oh I can make a pretty garden and haul stone and rocks but Kyle built the deck that I will spend my last years, relaxing on.

Speaking of yard work I went outside and moved some paving stones around and planted in the garden. I didn’t see Kyle until after 9 when I was soaking in the tub. He spent all day with his new friend Aaron Wood and he said he had the most wonderful Pride weekend ever.

Chuck Whyte called and said that his camera was stolen while he was volunteering at the Beer Garden. He was really hurt not because of the camera but because of all the pictures and memories that were lost.

6 June 2011 Monday

Kyle Foote started summer school today. I think he’s taking two classes. When he came home about noon he ate the chicken Fritos I made and then we went to Lowes to buy wood for the deck’s railing.

This morning while Kyle was at work I paid some bills. I paid off Chase’s Credit Card. That was $6000 alone. I also paid $2000 on the Lowe’s Card. I need to reserve $1400 to finish paying for the doors when they come.

It was a very windy unsettling day. Like a storm is moving in but it never did.

I fixed hamburgers for dinner and fed the dogs. Coco didn’t want to eat because she kept waiting for Michael to come for her but finally she did before taking her home.

7 June 2011 Tuesday

Kyle Foote didn’t have school today so we worked on getting the railing up on the deck. We worked from 9 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon so we put in a good days work. We got all the framing done and we just need to put the posts in.

It was a beautiful day, not too warm, not too cloudy. However Kyle had allergies bad all day though.

I fixed the dogs their supper about 4:30, trying to get Coco used to eating earlier. She still waits for her daddy but just has to be retrained for her to eat before I take her home.

Kyle had a date with his friend Aaron Wood and they went out for ice cream and then came home to enjoy the hot tub.

I went to the library and checked out three Janet Evanovich books on the Stephanie Plum series to read. I’m Tired of watching TV and I need to just relax. I fixed hamburgers again for dinner.

8 June 2011 Wednesday

Kyle Foote went off to class today and I went and got a haircut and bought some rainbow color wind ornaments to hang from the blossoming Pear tree. I also cleaned out the shed and started organizing it again by putting the bed back in it and a shelf.

When Kyle came home, I fixed some lunch of tostados and then we went to work putting balusters into the rails we did yesterday. However Kyle made an error and only ordered 200 of the mounting screws instead of 400 for top and bottom  so we quit a little more than half way through the upper deck.

We went to Sutherlands and Home Depot before deciding to order them again on line so it will be about a week before the railing gets completely done.

It started to drizzle in the late afternoon as a summer storm rolled through.

I fixed fish sticks for supper and fed the dogs before taking Coco home. I miss Michael Romero coming over, however and I guess I will have to start coming in his place to visit him.

I watched Jeff Bridge’s True Grit and while the acting and screen play was great I probably would never watch it again while John Wayne’s True Grit I will still want to watch in the future.

9 June 2011 Thursday

Kyle Foote went off to school and I cleaned house but also took a dip in the hot tub. Randy is coming over Sunday to explain to Kyle how to do the chemicals to keep the tub from getting scummy.

We worked on the rails on the back deck until we ran out of the wedgy things that connect the posts to the railing.

I made reservations for going to California but when I finally got to talk to my sister Charline she said that the internment was Friday July 8th.  I could have sworn she said  the 1st of July. Oh well I just canceled and will make new reservations.

Since Kyle was bringing Aaron Wood over for a date I made a Pot Roast with mushroom gravy, mashed potatoes, corn, homemade dinner rolls, a tossed pecan salad, and raspberry pie for dinner.

I finished reading Plum Spooky a Stephanie Plum novel by Janet Evanovich. I love the entire series and have read every one of them. Love them Love Them love them.”

Kyle got into my email account and forwarded this to himself so I never saw it. From: Edgar Williams  To: Kyle Foote Sent: Thursday, June 9, 2011 2:00 PM  Subject: Fw: Your package is on its way - Hello Ben Williams, Your package from Tom Siwek is on its way. 10 June 2011 Friday

Kyle Foote went off to school and I worked some in the yard until he came home about 10 this morning. He wanted to go get a half ton of dirt so we can level the area where the paving stones and picnic table is going to be. We worked on that for much of the day and it was exhausting.

He finished off the roast beef for dinner and I did a pile of his washing. He had at least 5 loads just sitting in his room. He is certainly not domestic.

Any way took a nap and then went out and worked a little more. I was hoping Chris Wadsworth could come over this evening but he had to work. I just straightened up the house, read, and went to bed.

11 June 2011 Saturday

I was up early doing yard work and cleaning up. I went to Sutherlands and bought about $40 worth of perennials to plant in the new flower garden area. Then I went up to Lowes but they didn’t have anything that wasn’t pricey so I went to Smith’s Market Place in Bountiful and bought about $50 worth of geraniums and potting soil for flowers for the upper deck.

In the later afternoon Kyle Foote and I went back to Smiths and bought a 3 person yard swing and Kyle put it together for me. He had a birthday party to go to this evening so I went grocery shopping by myself.

I first stopped over to see Mike Romero and Coco. I wanted to get out of the house and I am sure Mike needs visitors.

Kyle said Greg Hardin got another DUI and went to jail last weekend.  So glad I don’t have that monkey on my back.

12 June 2011 Sunday

Today is Pentecost and Dennis McCracken asked me to do a reading in the First Baptist this morning. This being non-members isn't working out like I had hoped. Now they got me doing things. Sneaky Baptists. They already tricked Kyle into helping the Baptist youth with a recycling project. I wonder if the Catholics are as devious?

Anyway church service is at 10 now instead of 11 but Pastor Curtis wanted those who were in the program to be there at 9:40 to rehearse a little.  It went off well I think.

Then we came home and I fixed Kyle some Fajitas. Spicy pork, and frijoles. I asked Mike Romero if he wanted to come over but he never responded. About 2 in the afternoon Randy, Kim, and Elysse Gile came over in the afternoon baring gifts.

I had asked Randy if he would come over to show Kyle how to do the chemicals for the hot tub. They brought me a big planter with a red Japanese Maple and some candles and martini glasses. I fixed fajitas and spicy pork and we all had a good time sitting in the back yard. I had my first Margarita of the summer. The picnic table worked out perfectly.

13 June 2011 Monday

I left the house about 7:20 this morning to drive up to Layton for classes today. I had no idea where any of the places were, that we were meeting at so I thought I better give myself plenty of time.

One was at the Davis County campus of Weber State U and the other was out in Syracuse at the High School  there.

I am exhausted. I Sat in a 4 hour class from 8 to 12 in Layton and another 3 hour class from 1-4 in Syracuse for my work. I have to do this all week. Some fun.

Kyle Foote said his Orgy.com web site will be ready to go online   this Thursday. He thinks he will be able to make money off of this. I hope it doesn’t end up costing him money but sitting in the hot tub with Kyle listening to him share his visions of the future was a perfect way to wind down after a perfectly dreadful day.

Kyle Foote also wrote Daniel Ogden co-owner of the Gay Hot Spot: “Hey Mr. Daniel! So I'm forming a committee (to be paid in the form of food and liquor) to sit down for an evening and help work out site flow for Orgy.com. The site is going live on Thursday with temporary content that is just porn. I would love to have your input on developing customer interaction and brainstorming features. Let me know if you're interested, If so I plan on meeting in the next week or so.’

Daniel Ogden wrote back, “Kyle you had me at orgy. Yes for sure count me in, just let me know when and where...OMG isn't that the point of orgy.com?”

Kyle responded, “Exactly right! Although - sorry to say - that this meeting most likely won't devolve into an orgy. Hopefully you're still interested. We will be coordinating a few schedules so I'll get back to you with a few options, let me know a few day/time options that would work for you as well.”

Daniel Ogden wrote: “Great! I am pretty open, evenings are nice for me.” And Kyle ended saying, “Excellent, I'll keep you in the loop.”

Greg Hardin wrote to Kyle saying, “Call me when you are available to go with me to the DMV to pay the impound fee and then to the tow yard in West Valley to pick up the car. Thanks!”

14 June 2011 Tuesday

Today was Ditto for yesterday except that Kyle Foote went out on a date with Aaron Wood while I did the dishes. Kyle said the door guys should be putting in the two doors leading out to the deck from the bedroom and kitchen  the next Week.

I was really gassy all day from eating the left over frijoles yesterday. More than usual that is.  I bought to lounge chairs at Wal-Mart that was on sale for $20 each

15 June 2011 Wednesday

Kyle Foote wrote to Tim Houpt saying: “Hello Tim, It's been a while and I hope all is well with you and Alexis. I invited both of you to a party on Saturday the 25 and I hope you can both make it.

The reason I am emailing you, however, is that I recently started a new venture and my first foray into the adult entertainment industry. I am launching a website called www.orgy.com and I'm looking to find a local business attorney who could help make sure I'm in compliance with Utah laws.

16 June 2011 Thursday

Today is my Grandma Johnson’s 112th birthday.  I miss her. I was up early for another long drive to Layton and Syracuse. John Sillitoe lectured today on ‘Nullification” and he was the only one to speak this week that was a professional. I went up to him during the break and told him that I was friends with his daughter Melissa Sillitoe. I Told him that I was the Utah Stonewall Center’s archivist and I write a history column for the Q.

From there raced over to Syracuse where I hurriedly ate at Carl’s Jr. before going to Wal-Mart to buy some flowers. I bought two rose bushes, a Mr. Lincoln and a Brandy Orange Rose both for $6 each and then I bought some Calla Lilies, and some purple Salvia all for about $40.

Then I went back to my last class of Davis portion of the academy. I just absolutely hate these classes where the women just yak, yak, yak  and no real answers are given to questions.  Well I am just doing it for the relicensing points.

I was home by 4 o’clock and after planting a couple of plants Kyle Foote and I went to Golden Pearl for Chinese food. We both had sweet and sour pork. I got a check of $1600 in the main from Mom’s funeral insurance. I need to call Charline and find out what she wants me to do with it.

17 June 2011 Friday

My last class with the “Teaching American History Academy” was today. Dr. Larkin spoke on American influence on constitutions abroad but she mainly talked about Russia which is her expertise. Actually I really enjoyed her and she didn’t treat the adults like children like Gene Sessions did. But I was so glad that was over.

When I came home, I helped Kyle with putting the tops onto the railings and we got most of them done except for the steps. Kyle went out to dinner with Aaron Wood tonight and I just watched a little television and went to bed pretty early.

18 June 2011 Saturday

I went out for donuts this morning at Deli Donuts on 27th South and State. Ever since reading Janet Evanovich’s novels, I’ve got a craving for donuts. I bought a dozen and brought them over to Michael Romeros because I knew Kyle wouldn’t eat them. I gave him 9 of them and I took an Apple Fritter and two cake donuts. The Apple fritter was still warm and yummy.

I fixed myself a cup of black coffee and sat on my new deck and waited for Kyle Foote to wake up. I then just pared my face book friends down to 90. I deleted people that NEVER interact with me, comment, or even push the like comment. I guess if people miss my rantings then they will ask to be FB friends again.

Kyle and I worked for most of the morning on putting the tops on the rails. He didn’t like how one corner turned out so he’s going to think how to do that one better.

Mike’s old boyfriend, Mark Anderson said he was coming over this morning so his step kids could earn some money pulling weeds but he never did. I think I am finally over Mark.

It’s been six months now since Mike and I put down Priscilla and Smokey.

19 June 2011 Sunday

It’s Portland weather again in Salt Lake City. It’s Down pouring for most of the day. No father day's BBQs or picnics today! It's 2 days from Summer and it feels like fall. I have yet to turn on the sprinkler system and we live on the rim of the Great Basin Desert. Climate Change anyone?

This morning about 8:30 I drove up to Centerville to go to Wal-Mart early to see if they had some wrought iron end patio tables like I saw in Syracuse. It was pouring rain the whole time. They did and I bought some cushions for the loungers, a snow cone maker, and some other items.

However on the way out of the shopping center I got into the wrong lane because hardly could see with the rain coming down and I had to jump a median to get into the correct lane of traffic. My poor Chrysler really scraped bottom and the metal legs of the tables scrapped a little against my tinted window in the back hatch. At first I thought I had cracked my window.

I finished Kyle Foote’s laundry and started on mine when Kyle returned from his sleep over at Aaron Wood.  We didn’t or couldn’t do much today because of the rain. When it cleared just a little we used the hot tub and then later rented a movie “I am Number Four” which was a teenage science fiction flick. It was just so so. It was more like a number two. Lots of teen angst. Best part is he leaves the girl behind at the end and goes off with his cute teenage sidekick.

I Heard today that Nikki Boyer is running for Jackie Biskupski’s old House seat in District 30. That will be great.

I called the Romeros but Bill wasn’t home but had gone fishing. So I told Faye to wish him  a Happy Father’s Day. Faye told me that she said in her birthday card to Mike that if he has no intentions of ever talking to them again that they were going to cut him out of their will. Gads.

I also called my sister Charline just to touch bases. She said it was over 100 degrees down there in Arizona.

20 June 2011 Monday

Seth Bracken, Michael Aaron’s editor for the Q  emailed me asking if I was going to write an article for this issue. It comes out Thursday. It Wasn’t much of a warning but I cranked one out on the founding of the Utah Stonewall Center.

I am an old poop. I pulled the entire spurge myrtle from my curb and hoed and racked and put down flag stone. I am pooped.

21 June 2011 Tuesday

It’s the First day of summer and Michael Romero’s birthday. The men came out to install the new doors I ordered for the dining room and my bedroom. Now I can walk out onto my deck from the bedroom, so it was a busy day. Kyle Foote put up half the lattice to trim the deck.

Poor Buddy was a nervous wreck. He Even chewed through his harness. Change is hard on him.

I finished a column for the Q last night and then relaxed in the hot tub. I am convinced that People turn to crystal meth because they don't have a hot tub. My 40 jets are better than sex, drugs, and rock and roll at my age. The jets on my feet are like angels saving my soles. It’s been so cool in the evenings that it actually feels wonderful to have a soak in 101 bath water. I just lean back and look at my trees towering over me and let the jets have their way with me. Calgon take me away.

Zach Seach wrote Kyle “So long story short, I've been really stupid and reckless lately. I Took off in my parents’ car over memorial day weekend. They reported it stolen. On memorial day got pulled over for speeding, which resulted in getting guns drawn on me, so got charged with Grand Theft Auto, but my mom dropped the charges and the DA picked up a Joy Riding Charge on me. And I got a possession of a controlled substance for the Percocet I had on me and a drug paraphernalia charge for the straw with powder residue I had on my person when arrested.

So from May 31st till June 14th I was sitting in jail. At my court date on the 14th I got release to custody of my dad and have been on house arrest since. No phone, communication with any of my friends nor able to leave the house. Pretty crazy. So you’re now not the only bad boy. Lol So that’s what I've been dealing with.

I have a private attorney, and it’s looking like I’m going to have to go into drug court, which pretty much takes a year or so to complete. So I'm stuck in UT for a while, unless I can someway swing a 2 or 3 year probation. If I got that then I could probably transfer it to another county/state. Not sure about any of that yet, gotta see what kinda deal I can get... Oh and the DA is gonna drop the joy riding charge. So I only have to deal with the possession shit.”

Kyle Foote responded, “wow, that's quite a story! Too bad you're stuck on house arrest. Good thing most of the shit is getting dropped. When is your next court date?”

Zach Seach wrote: Next court date is next Tuesday. But I might push it back a week, cause my dad’s side of the family is having a family reunion this weekend. Which I really want to go to. But I don’t want to go just for a few days down to SOCAL. So gotta figure that out also. What have you been up to?”

22 June 2011 Wednesday

I swear I need a babysitter or a keeper. I worked all morning until it got hot, putting in flag stones, pulling weeds, and mowing the front lawn. Then I took a nap on my swing for about 1/2 hr but when I got up noticed I had left the kitchen door wide open, the central air blasting, and had left a stove burner on low from breakfast this morning. Anyone want the job of following me around?

So I finished the stone work around the curb today. I Cleaned it all up so it’s just Russian Sage and Mexican primroses. It does look rather nice. I Cleaned out some of the Milk thistles that I hate so much but that is a project for another day.

Coco came back over this morning and wore the dogs out. When I brought her home I gave Michael Romero  his mother’s birthday card but he refused it.

I don’t want to get in it anymore but I just can’t understand why he wants to be so mean to her. I opened the card and read the letter she wrote to him. It was heart breaking pleading for him to at least talk to them. One day they won’t be here.

My parents are gone now and he will feel different when he doesn’t have his folks to blame anymore.

It Feels kind of strange that I can walk out my bedroom and sit on my deck. But it’s Way cool. Better yet the dogs and I have a fire escape after 15 years!

Today is the first full day of Summer! Looks like blue skies and will be in the 80's.

Kyle Foote wrote to Zach Seach saying, “Hey trouble!” Zach Seach replied, “howdy What are you up to?” Kyle Foote answered “About to do some work on the deck. Wish you were here to help! Mister house arrest.” Zach Seach responded, “argh I wish I could leave the house.” Kyle Foote said, “I know the feeling.” Zach Seach said, “it blows big time.”

Kyle Foote wrote, “Well don't do the crime if you can't do the time isn't that what they say LOL.” Zach Seach answered “yeah this is true. I think so. not sure, never really followed that one myself.”

Kyle Foote laughed and said “ha-ha Well Ben keeps asking about you. He would rather you be my assistant than him.” Zach Seach wrote, “oooooooh yeah defiantly will as soon as I can leave the house on my own. I'll let ya know. Lol.”

Kyle Foote asked, “Which jail were you in?”. Zach Seach answered, “Tooele county.” Kyle Foote replied “Oh, never been there.” Zach Seach teased, “it's nice this time of year bahahaha.” Kyle Foote added “I've heard the food is decent compared to Salt Lake County that is.” Zach Seach responded, “eh not really. the food is hella not filling.”

Kyle Foote then said, “Well I have to run, gotta get some lunch and then do some work on the deck. It's almost completely done.” Zach Seach wrote, “nice.  nice talk to ya later.” Kyle Foote added, “Putting up the rest of the lattice skirting this afternoon and then I'll frame in the roof over the hot tub.” Zach Seach replied, “oh that’s not too bad at all.”

Zach Seach wrote later in the day, “how'd deck building go today?” Kyle Foote answered, “went well”. Zach Seach said, “lil’ hot tho.”  Kyle Foote ended saying, “I'm just about to log off though gotta run to Jam.” Zach Seach said, “ah sad lol chat with you later then...” Kyle Foote wrote alright stud!”

23 June 2011 Thursday

It was the Hottest day of the year so far at near 90 degrees. It Finally feels like summer. This morning I went down to where Mike Romero works to get a chip repaired in my windshield. I have never been in his place of work before. Kind of dreary.

I then picked up my meds and went home to bring all of the scalloped bricks over to Mike’s place because he wants to put them around his bushes.

I made some spaghetti before Kyle Foote got home so we can have it for dinner. He and I then finished putting all the lattice trim pieces around the deck. It really looks nice.

Kyle also bought a Grill Master BBQ. I think he’s very proud of that.

In the evening watched I watched “The King’s Speech” while Kyle went off to spend the evening with Aaron Wood. So ends another day

Kyle wrote to Marty Alder-“So great meeting you tonight at Jam!” You are absolutely adorable and I'm glad we had the chance to chat and wash our hands together. I'm excited that now we get to be friends in person and face book. ~Kyle”

Marty Alder wrote back, “Kyle I enjoyed meeting you as well! I'm sure this is just the first of many hand washings to come. Thank you for letting me join your seemingly boundless group of adoring fans. –Marty.”

24 June 2011 Friday

I worked with Kyle Foote putting up the braces around the top of the posts that are framing the hot tub deck. I am really sore and think I strained my back and am really stiff.

I Sat in the hot tub with Kyle and that seemed to help a lot. Kyle cooked on his Grill Master for the first time this evening. He made us hot dogs and I had made an English Pea Salad. Mom really loved that salad and eating it reminds me of her a lot.

We ate outside on the picnic table so we had our 1st summer BBQ.

It was another really warm day but I worked putting the castle bricks in along the south side of the house so the yard is basically done for Kyle’s party tomorrow.  I have been out of school three weeks now.

In the news New York State became the 6th state in the Union to legalize Gay Marriage. Peter Falk a character actor who I really liked died at the age of 83.

A charge on my Chase Credit card for amount of  $66.67  was paid to Odesk.

25 June 2011 Saturday

Today is my sister Donna’s 62nd birthday. I don’t have a way to get a hold of her anymore. I guess I will see her in July for Mom’s funeral.

I had an extremely sore back last night and for most of the day I ached. I strained it from lifting beams for Kyle Foote yesterday. I worked in the yard some today making things look nice for his party tonight.

In the afternoon we went shopping and at Smith’s Kyle said something to me that he felt like I am picking on his friend Christine Johanson and it really made me mad. We had a major fight in the car going home. He was pissing me off by saying I always do this and that. I was getting angrier and angrier.

At one point he was so mad that he lost his temper and was screaming in my face. I never saw this side of him before and I sat quiet to diffuse the situation.

At home however, we started crying and held each other and said we loved each other and I told him that he’s like a son I never had and he said I was like his mom. I think we were just tired from the pressure of getting as much of the yard done as we could for his party.

Then when I went to take the dogs for a ride just as his party was beginning, I couldn’t find my keys, which was stressful for him and me because I thought he had them last but I had put them up when cleaning the table. It was just additional frustration. After finding them I was able to calm down.

Poi was one of the first to arrive and was right in the hot tub. I told him how much I appreciated his help in moving the shed last May. Most of the people who attended were Christine’s straight friends but cute guys all in the late 20’s and early 30’s.

Kyle BBQed the fajita meat and peppers. I had made a large bowl of homemade refried beans and others brought things too. Amy Barry of the Farmer’s Market made delicious Spanish Rice. Someone brought some chili Verde and it was good but not as good as mine. Christine made a vegan dish of mashed yams and black beans served on corn tortillas.  It was unusual.

The dogs were in the house for most of the night because Kyle had people come through the side gate but they were well behaved.

Towards the end of the party most were sitting with their feet in the hot tub and having a good time. Kyle had put up this 16 foot Gay Flag hung from the beams we put up yesterday. He said we had the 2nd largest Gay flag in Utah.

I talked to Amy Barry mostly who is I think is a closeted Lesbian but I really had not much in common to visit with the straight young kids. They were all visiting and chatting about contemporary pop references and people I had no connection with. Except for the blow out with Kyle it was pleasant day.

26 June 2011 Sunday

A party always looks so sad the day after but from the amount of libations I think Kyle Foote and Christine Johanson 's friends had a good time. Now what to do with a gallon of left over Margaritas? I guess it will make a great marinade for BBQing this summer. I was happy that I could just climb into bed while the party took off to Club Jam'.

I spent much of the day reading Sizzling Sixteen a Stephanie Plum novel before going over to Michael Aaron’s Nekkid Deck Party and Rainbow Walk Fundraiser/nudist party were I sat in the hot tub there. I have to say that my tub’s jets are more powerful.

I met this kid named Richard Noble who is walking across the country with his rainbow flag to raise awareness and gain national support for the SO+GI American Equality Bill, and The LGBT Civil Rights Modernization Act.. He’s a radical faerie and was impressed that I knew who Harry Hay was.

27 June 2011 Monday

My back is so stiff and sore that I stayed in bed and finished reading Sizzling Sixteen by Janet Evanovich.

28 June 2011 Tuesday

It was 96 degrees today.  I Fixed the sprinklers and finally turned them on today. I only had to fix one that was broken and that was on the south side. I decided just to cap it off. I mulched my flower garden and put it down between the paving stones.

I fixed a potato salad & had cold roast beef with horseradish sauce for dinner.  Then I made me a Margarita Snow Cone and sat in the hot tub.  My back is still real sore.

Zach Seach wrote to Kyle Foote asking, “Hey what’s up? Are you really dating someone now?” Kyle Foote replied, “So what's new stud? What are the big decisions you face?”

Zach Seach answered, “not much, just got back home from San Diego late last night. Had a family reunion Saturday. so much fun, definitely a good refresher.”

Kyle Foote responded, “cool! So when's court?” and Zach Seach replied, “It was this morning.” Kyle Foote asked, “what happened?” and Zach said he got a continuance for 2 weeks. Kyle Foote then asked, “still on house arrest?” and Zach replied, “yeah pretty much. Gotta figure out if I want to do the court drug program or go to a private one.”

Kyle Foote responded, “ that blows. So which are you thinking is gonna be better? Pvt or Court?” Zach Seach said, “private I think, my family down in SOCAL want me to do this year program down there.”

Kyle Foote wrote, “Well you should do what's best to help you kick the problem and move on with your life.”

Zach Seach said, “one of my cousins went there and has done really well. So I got 2 weeks to research it all and figure out what I want to do. How are you doing?”            Kyle Foote responded, “ I'm doing good busy with school, work and my new little bit.” Zach Seach asked, “new lil’ biz? you’re not whoring yourself out are you?” Kyle Foote laughed, “ha-ha, I couldn't make enough. if I did I'd give it away free to too many people. LOL.  yep, I bought a website that I will launch on September 1st.” Zach Seach laughed to “bahahahahah that’s cool about the website. what kinda biz is it? or can you not say yet?”

Kyle Foote answered, “I can say, it just won't be ready for a while so the stuff that's up now is just temporary. I bought the website Orgy.com.” Zach said, “really? That’s awesome.”

Kyle Foote wrote, “crazy, huh? I'm turning it into a social networking and event planning tool. people will be able to create free profiles and plan orgies with people in their area.”

Zach Seach responded “yeah I'd say. that’s a really good idea.”

Kyle Foote added, “So a little like Connexion meets Manhunt but mostly for straights because there's a lot more straights than Gays. People will be able to read all kinds of blogs and stories to learn about orgies and gang bangs and swinging and such they will also be able to find information on safe sex and STI testing The theme will be kind of a 60s/70s free love.”

Zach Seach replied, “cool I like it. So do you have a boyfriend these days now or what?” Kyle Foote said, “I do. What's up with yours? Zach Seach said, “dunno...I put a hold on hitting him up first, and he hasn't hit me up at all. Who knows what’s going to happen. I wanna move to San Diego. Lol my life is fucking nuts right now. That’s good your dating again...” Kyle Foote admitted, “Yes, I really like this guy.” Zach Seach: “ that’s good.”

Kyle Foote added “You're still young so you don't need to be tied down.. you like to play the field, I thought?” Zach Seach said, “not really. I'd rather stick with one. I don't like feeling sleazy. Lol”  Kyle Foote responded, “ha-ha, that's good to know. I figured you liked to have fun. Didn’t' know you were a one man/monogamous kind.”

Zach Seach replied, “yup. since I've been back in Utah, I've only slept with you except for the circle jerk party you threw.” Kyle Foote responded, “wow, I figured you had hooked up with other people too. btw, you really should come by and hot tub! any chance you can get a release to hang out?”

Zach Seach exclaimed, “I'm so down. I'll work on it possibly sometime this week of coming weekend.”

Kyle Foote wrote, “ok, your family should know it's a legit thing since you've worked on the deck and stuff.  Ben and I would both like to have you over to see the finished product that you helped with. I can give you a ride to and from as well.”

Zach Seach said, “I know. I want to see it as well. Net it’s killer. Did you get the roof completed?” Kyle Foote replied, “Not totally the frame is up but I'm gonna have to have a few friends over for a roof raising. Anyway, I gotta run and get my hair cut. So good to catch up!  Talk To You Later  and let me know about coming over for a BBQ/hot tubbing!” Zach Seach ended saying, “ok. I will promise.”

The two wrote later in the evening, with Kyle writing, “what up? Lol” and Zach Seach said, “getting ready to go to bed.” Kyle Foote responded, “nice, you should be getting ready to hot tub with me!” Zach Seach replied, “dead tired. didn’t get home last night till 3am. I'll be down for tomorrow. I gotta balance my rents’ [parents] hot tub. Then we could switch up hot tubs.” Kyle Foote said, “ok, that works!”  Zach Seach wrote “  anyways good night.”

29 June 2011 Wednesday

I went to the Riverside Day Library and checked out the first two books in a trilogy and then read most of the day “Voodoo Season” by Jewell Parker Rhodes. I did go to Sutherlands and bought some more plants. I bought  two red hot poker plants that I planted on the curb,  two pink feather plants, and some yellow day lilies which I brought over to Michael Romero’s and planted them in his pots on his porch.

Kyle Foote went out to dinner over at Christine Johanson's so I just spent the evening alone working on downloading music on the iPod that Michael gave me.

My back is still stiff.

It was a hot day today and the wind just was whipping the trees around like crazy.

30 June 2011 Thursday

I woke Kyle Foote up early to take me to Lodders in Bountiful to have the PT Cruiser serviced. If I am going on a long trip I better get things checked. They didn’t get to it until late in the day and said that my serpentine belt and air conditioner belt needed replacing and that I needed a brake job so I also am having them do an oil change.

I worked in the front yard for most of the morning pulling the hundreds of Milkweed that grew up everywhere in the garden. Some were almost three feet tall.

Kyle had class today and two meetings for his farmers market job so I was by myself for much of the day.

Chuck Whyte called and asked if I would stop by the Pride Center to retrieve his camera that someone had turned in. So Kyle took me since I had no vehicle of mine own. Well technically the truck belongs to me.

Speaking of cars, I guess Elyse and Randy both bought new cars. So it’s been a good year for the Giles.

Kyle and I watched two episodes of last season’s True Blood and I went into the hot tub this evening before he drained it. It needed some fresh water.

Mike Romero came over to pick up Coco since I didn’t have a vehicle. We sat on the deck but didn’t really say much about how it all turned out. I told him that he’d have to feed the dogs next Thursday.

Zach Seach wrote to Kyle, “OMG I've been so stressed out. it all finally caught up with me Tuesday.” Kyle Foote asked, “Have you made a decision?” Zach Seach replied, “not yet I just don't know what’s going to be the best option.” Kyle Foote said, “I'm sure whatever you choose will work out in the end.” Zach Seach wrote, “Yeah you’re right.  it’s just been tough this week, like a truck full of bricks got dropped on my shoulders. Can't stop thinking about everything that’s going on, and people I've blown off.”

Kyle Foote responded, “Growing up is lame.” Zach Seach wrote, “I hate it. makes me want to pop a Xanax lol.” Kyle Foote laughed, “ha-ha, isn't that part of the problem LMAO” Zach Seach  said “Yeah it is. I was joking. I was about to send the Just Kidding  message lol. But if I get a script from my doctor, then it'd be okay. I finally talked to my boy yesterday.”

Kyle Foote asked, “How'd that go?” Zach Seach replied, “I broke down and sent him a msg. Well I was completely honest with him. He said he didn't know what to say. I told him if he didn't want to talk anymore, that I'd understand. He replied no, “You need someone to talk to and keep you going on a good path. I was really surprised.”

Kyle Foote said, “ok, that's really positive.” Zach Seach wrote, “yeah I know. God I need to get out there to see him. That’s another thing I feel horrible about.” Kyle Foote said, “Well it sounds like despite everything he still really cares about you.” Zach Seach responded, “ Yeah I'm thinking so too. He's just not the type that wears his heart on his sleeve. I'm the total opposite thou. a lil’ emotional sometimes.” Kyle Foote replied, “it takes all kinds though Zach, one of your best features is the fact that you have a good heart.”

Zach Seach stated, “Thanks. It’s also my worst feature. I've gotten hurt pretty bad a few times now because I do have a good heart and guys have taken advantage of it, big time too. I know that Matt cares about me tho. He might not say it out loud, but he'd drive an hour one way to my apt on his days/ nights off from work to come see me and sleep over. Usually 2 times a week and sometimes more. Even when we'd go to the nude beaches in Tahoe, and guys would hit on me or being creepers, he was pretty protective. So... Hot tubbing sometime this weekend? Would Aaron get jealous if we hung out?”

Kyle Foote replied, “I imagine he would. We can't hang out alone. When I'm in a relationship I don't hang out alone with guys.” Zach Seach said, “well darn it lol.” Kyle responded and teased, “Nothing personal though ha-ha Not that I wouldn't love to hang with you and other things... LOL.” Zach Seach laughed, “ha-ha not gonna happen. you gots a boyfriend... I'll have to find another Fuck Buddy . maybe not tho.” Kyle Foote asked, “why not?” Zach Seach answered, “I don’t really want to deal with people's bullshit. I got a lot going on right now.” Kyle Foote said, “ true, true FB's are great in some situations.” Zach Seach stated, “I don’t know, if I feel like it then I would.”

Kyle Foote wrote “you were a great Fuck Buddy, except for the whole rarely fucking thing,” Zach Seach laughed, “ha-ha yeah sorry.” Kyle Foote replied, “LMAO. it's all good. If you lived closer we would fuck a lot more often for sure! Lol.”  Zach Seach responded, “yeah definitely too bad we didn’t get one more in before you got a bf.”

Kyle Foote then said, “Ben's home a lot and we still want to have you over to hot tub so it's not like we'd be alone and so long as you don't start anything then we'll be ok.” Zach Seach replied, “oh yeah. that’s right. I won’t start anything, I'm respectful like that.”  Kyle Foote stated, “Cool, cuz I have zero self-control LOL That's why I have a rule against being alone with guys.”

Zach Seach wrote, “that’s good then. So it will definitely be a bad idea to have you over at my house to hot tub.” Kyle Foote asked.”Why's that? You can't control yourself at your house? Lol.” Zach Seach said, “cause we'd probably be alone.”

Kyle Foote asked, “well when do you want to come over and hot tub mister?” Zach Seach responded, “humm  I don’t know. when are you free? cause I gotta get my permission slip signed before I can come over...”  Kyle Foote replied, “Umm, I'll have to get back to you on exactly when. But maybe tomorrow night? Is there a time frame that works best? I mean do you have to be home before 10 or something?”

Zach Seach stated, “Oh yeah I think so, but  I don’t know what time it is. haven’t had to worry about it yet.  I'll ask.  I just have to go to a couple Narcotic Anonymous meetings over the weekend, which starts at 6:30 It'd probably be 10-12.”

Kyle Foote said, “ok, that's probably fine. How much notice do you need?” Zach Seach answered, “ a couple hours, whatever, works for me. You'd probably want to try earlier the better, cause I don’t have a cell phone or anything. argh this means we don't even get to make out.  Suck.” Kyle Foote replied, “I know right :( Just so long as YOU don't start anything we'll be ok..” Zach Seach said, “I won’t, I promise.”

Kyle Foote wrote, “Ok, ha-ha It's possible that I could be free around 10 tonight, but I don't know yet. I'm trusting you to have self-control.” Zach Seach stated, “it'll be tough. but I can do it.” Kyle Foote said, “ok, cool. We'll have to ignore Ben's "No Swim Suit" rule too.” Zach Seach responded, “argh alright.”

Kyle Foote laughed, “hahaha, we better change the subject cuz I'm getting hard.”

Zach Seach laughed, “bahahahaha”.

Kyle Foote said, “Anyway, so there's a possibility for tonight but if not tonight then tomorrow night.  I can come pick you up and take you home also So it might be easier to just hot tub at your place, although is it weird being where all the neighbors can see you?”

Zach Seach responded, “No, it’s really quiet here at night. that might be an issue with my dad, he might want to drop me off and pick me up. I'll ask him that too when I talk to him.” Kyle Foote said, “ok, either way let me know. He doesn't know me, so it wouldn't surprise me if he wanted to drive you. I'm guessing he knows of me though and you helping build the deck although that in and of itself doesn't make me trustworthy lol”.

Zach Seach SAID, “yeah that’s what I’m thinking. I’ll find out for sure and let you know. oh, I totally just thought of a good plan to where I know it won’t be an issue coming onto you...”  Kyle Foote asked, “what's that?” Zach Seach answered, “jack off before we hang out. Lol.” Kyle Foote responded, “ok, that works. Well if you jack off and are confident then we wouldn't have to break Ben's no swim suit rule LOL.”  Zach Seach stated, “well I don't know about that one he he. that like quadruples the temptation.””

Kyle Foote laughed, “hahaha all righty. you are probably right.”

Zach Seach wrote then, “yup. well I gotta go, going to the pool.” Kyle Foote asked, “So are you gonna be online later, around 10?” Zach Seach: “I could be.”

Kyle Foote replied, “ok, I'll just send you an Face Book message to let you know if tonight's gonna work out or not.”

Zach Seach responded, “or you could try calling my house phone.” Kyle Foote said, “oh, ok. I don't want to piss of your parents by calling too late. I want to be the friend of yours that they like and can trust. LOL.” Zach Seach said, “it only rings on one phone, and I’ll keep it with me.” Kyle Foote wrote, “oh, ok well I'll add that to my cell phone and if I can hang out later tonight I'll let you know. It would be cool to catch up and I'd really like you to see the deck now that it's basically finished. I don't have any extra swimsuits either so remember to bring yours. Have fun at the pool stud! Work on that tan.”
